I still think the original animation was better
Οh definitely. It was a quick and rough tweak of the original animation just for the sake of doing a "big" change to test the waters. Unfortunately I abandoned animations for now and focused on making Kaer Morhen more clean, with people around and bring some Witcher 1 areas back.
It looks amazing, you're making excellent progress! Building underground structures can be a pain sometimes, I can't imagine the time it must have taken to design these new rooms with the camera clipping in the walls and all that!

AC6 really reminded me of ds1 with its opening cutscene, theyre so similar. love how much they still use ds1

You mean the base game? (About the chest) When it comes to Midir's Arena I feel like you refer to putrescent knight. You even have to drop to access the arena like the Ringed City drop :)
From likes to reuse ideas either for call backs, or because they just love those ideas. Romania is basically another iteration of quelag, in terms of design (lady insect). Also in the base game theres the twin gargoyles fight which is a call back to DS1. The fights obviously way different but present the same ideas, just with a twist.
Ι love when From reuses something that was either bad or mid/ok-ish at best and make it work even better in their next installment. (It can be boss designs, weapon arts etc)

Of courseee!! Patches even existed back in the Demon Souls days. A true survivor, no matter the game he always ends up looking for treasureeee haha

easter eggs? You mean recylcing content every game to make a newer, better version out of it. I mean it works pretty well
This instance is a nod to Dark Souls 1 for me. I see what you are trying to say and I am not going to be the typical defender and say From does everything perfect. On the other hand, I wouldn't say Elden Ring is just recycled content better served.

It's only a tiny miniscule buff if you have the full 20 blessing levels. They didn't nerf the boss.
I was having 1.85 scaling with (17) Fragments and with the patch I was going to have 1.97. I thought it's fair to diffentiate the vid from the current state somehow because you can't say that it's the same
@@GeoGames_Dev you don't understand the patch then. There was litterally no difference at lv 17. Levels 1-10 were stronger. Not 11-20
@@marloncebo242 1.85 and 1.97 is a slight change but a change nonetheless. If I played Radahn with the current patch I was going to end him faster so for me it does affect him even though it is not a direct nerf to him.

They didn't directly nerf Radahn but they buffed the fragments meaning if I entered after the patch I would have ended the fight earlier due to increased damage and damage negation. I will also upload more playstyles fighting Radahn so this video is something like an OG version of the game
They said a balance patch is on the way so they might actually nerf bosses
@@GeoGames_Dev bruh, they just made it so that the early fragments help more than the later ones. The difference at max 20 fragments is like 27 damage and 1 damage negation. It's literally nothing.

They didn't nerf bosses yet although balance changes are coming, but the fragment scaling has been drastically changed meaning if I was going to replay the boss I would have increased damage and damage negation.
It could be good base for mod with quest in Geralt's flashback to time when he was young witcher and Kaer Morhen were more habitable
Super cool! Would love to see maybe little activities or witcher npcs as in Corvo Bianco doing smth. Overall - fantastic job! Looking forward to test it soon!

It's time to revisit Witcher 1 I guess. I remember triss's room had different floor texture that was more shiny. Overall a mix of Witcher 1 aesthetics and a more fresh take should get the job done.
Be careful about the spawn points for NPCs It would be cool if you added armor and weapon stands, like in Blood and Wine DLC. And a bed in Geralt's room
Spawn points and quests in general are a thing to be aware of. I'm trying to learn how I can decorate the stands myself. Drag and drop an armor is not working for me because the "pose" of the armor is not like in the DLC.
@@GeoGames_Dev There are meshes in the files that are made for the armor stands. Search in models/geralt

There's always mods "disrespectful" towards the game sure, but mods in general can benefit and revitalize a game in terms of sales, interest etc. I wouldn't mind people spend time modding a game that I worked before. It's cool to see the thoughts of your player base.

I've never felt more empty after finishing any game compared to this game and ending up in kaer morhen, alone. Man that redkit may wake up the modding commun, i hope to see more stuff from them in future. Waiting for that w1 remake

So good to see Kaer morhen in it's former glory. Sadness and grief always take me when I walk in that keep, maybe because of it's state or maybe because there is no hope for the place after the conclusion of the game. Well done and good luck on the path bro.
The first time I completed the game. I see the loading screen and then I end up on Kaer Morhen,alone. The emptiness that everything was over, is a feeling that will follow me forever. Incredible experience <3 On a happier note though, what would you like to see, or expected to see when you first entered? I'm open for ideas because I don't have a clear image of the path I want to take yet.
@@GeoGames_Dev Thanks for the reply. Well it's been a while since I last played the game and I don't remember the details. unfortunately I don't have a proper pc to run the game yet. I think I'm going to love and enjoy the outcome of your project however your path take you to. The only thing that comes to my mind and I'd like to see like what you did for the main hall, is the rebuilding of the areas that are a wreck in witcher 3 and thus let the player to explore them like witcher 1.

@@bobbyfatgun Yes I'm using REDKit. Some small scope mods are posted already, but if people aim to make bigger scope mods, well it takes time to learn how to do things. Official Documentation covers the ground for the 40% of things and these are basic cases.
I can imagine some Ruroni Kenshin moves.
The NSFW animations cutscene will be made eventually judging by how they show up in skyrim and fallout

In regards to importing Witcher 2 animations I'm not that interested. I'm mostly eager to learn how I can do stuff by myself so yes more videos will come as soon as I'm confident I will do a video that actually helps

In the 'asset browser' you can double-left-klick *next* to in your case 'levels' tab, to open a new Depot
True also if you are trying to find the reference of a gameobject in the scene, it will open a new tab.
Make better new animations for axes.
If I can spot and tackle the blending issue I wouldn't mind doing new movesets in general.

@@junis-uh7zl I wouldn't agree to that. Yeah in a sense you are competing against mo cap animations but with enough polish to your animation clips and proper knowledge you can do wonders!

Τhank you, if and when I learn more about it I will post an update. For the meantime, I'm making a new level and possibly I will make a tips video to help newcomers become more efficient with the RedKit.
Hey, You need to update the transition in the behaviour graph which for the more complex animations might not be easy but should be doable. There are a lot of weights there for blending the animations together.
Awesome insight thanks! I should search how many animations can transition to this and vice versa and fix the weights and any other relevant value.

This same thing happens on xbox for myself and others i know and idk what to switch to be able to see them
I also read about a guy messing with ray tracing options (setting ray tracing to medium), and that was the fix for him. In your case, maybe try disabling ray tracing if possible?

I honestly think this is so much better than two dragon sword katana, though this might be because I’m dogshit with the katana but this thing is so much fun to use, I was excited for the katana but man I am getting creamed by every enemy using it and the damage output is pretty meh. I’m pretty sure it’s mainly good for stagger but I can’t really get that parry down with it so I’m just sticking with this rn. Also do you know what stats are best for this to max damage?
The difference maker for the two dragon sword is that it's the only weapon that can cancel boss attacks and interupt anything so the damage output doesn't matter to me because it's all about mastering the parry and becoming the boss. Glaive kinda mimics the Wo Long philosophy and offer an unlimited deflect as long as you always time it properly. When it comes to scaling I think both are technique weapons. I'm using Glaive on level 1 run currently so I'm not paying attention to scale cause I'm not leveling.
