    Really appreciate you breaking the stand down instead of just pointing at it- much more visual that way on how the arms work. Thank you so much for making this video.

    Awesome stand Jeven, I use something similar from Ulanzi, but it's mounted to my desk, so I need to get a more sturdy desk as any movement and I get the wobbles. I have to be honest with you, love this setup, so clean, love the blacks. I know you spent a ton of money, heart and soul into the spaceship garage background, but this is just so much easier on the eyes 👌🏻

      Jeven needs a sturdy desk too, wobbles even without anything on it =D

    A 35lbs (or couple x2) Olympic weight plates threaded through the products base plate will hold the stand down with your heavy add-ons...

  • @CRANEREVIEWS
    @CRANEREVIEWS 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Oh wow, cheaper than a good C-stand! Make an update in half a year or so to see how well it holds up.

    • @JevenDovey
      @JevenDovey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly! I was using multiple C Stands before. So far I've had this for over a month and no complaints. Seems very sturdy

    • @jamesandcamera
      @jamesandcamera 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can see those basic plastic caster wheels breaking first and not lasting long.
      For durability use an impact rolling stand or a rolling combo stand and they will last you a lifetime rather than the wheels on this breaking after a month or 2.

    Great video. Can you use this stand when you are standing up and you want the camera at eye level, and the light source and mic higher? Or do you Always have to use it sitting down?

  • @Deankut
    @Deankut 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey Jeven, I see that you use a color grading plugin. May I ask if that's to streamline your workflow? I ask b/c I know you know how to do it manually. I have a color weakness (red & green, a lot of guys have it) that really hinders me. For instance, grass looks orange to me, lol.

  • @JamesDBuzzard
    @JamesDBuzzard 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does it comparecome with the 4 leg base pictured on Amazon or the circle weighted base?

  • @JamesDBuzzard
    @JamesDBuzzard 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Jeven are you still using this in your studio or are these stands more trouble than they are worth? I would love to see a long-term review on this bad boy and if it is worth it long term

    • @JevenDovey
      @JevenDovey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yup still using it. However I've moved to a longer lens for my camera so this stand holds my light, monitor and audio now. My camera is on a tripod further away. I think its a good stand because you can put multiple things on it.

    Since you're not wheeling it around, you didn't want to get the desk mount option instead?

      There’s no desk to mount it to where it’s located. Also I like the option to move it if I need to

    Man, focus was all over the place during the walkthrough--very hard to watch. Maybe use not such a low f stop, or get a Sony ZV-1.
