I have been searching videos to understand cross weight and finally found it. Thank you for the video. Now i dont need to refer to anything when adjusting my rc car cross weight because i can visualise it in my head.

Just found your channel! Love the info! Only a year in to getting my 8yr old son in to karts. Still learning all of the basics, but I appreciate you making things a bit easier to understand.

Could you do a vid on how you decide when to make each adjustment? For example how you decide when to make a castor change vs stagger vs camber or air pressure etc. I know it’s a broad topic and depends on so many variables but could you some how take us through a thought process on what you look to change first if the kart is loose on exit vs push or how to decide when you want weight transfer sooner vs later? Any kind of approach or tips on how/when to use what. Yours are the best vids I have seen explaining what things do but I am curious on others approach to tuning at the track. Not necessarily a magic setup number but just the decision process. Thanks

Been really enjoying your content , I’m a science guy. Show me data or there’s no proof. You could easily just talk about the data you seen on race track and people will eat that up. Keep it up , can’t wait to learn more

all cross does is move traction from the front of the kart to the rear or vice versa. so which side of the bell curve is faster? every race car uses the left side of your curve and karts use the right side of your curve WHY what's the advantage? why do karts do the opposite of race cars who have engineers in their teams?

The proper amount of cross percentage is greatly determined by chassis design, driving style, tire program, and track condition. Race cars are completely different because of the use of suspension.

I have a buddy who use to race at our local track and he used to kick ass on a 79 bandit chassis with a kt100 in open class, and he had unreal corner speed.he won 19 races one season with that kart.and he wasnt racing against no junk.😂it still blows my mind thinking about it,his corner speed was unreal.he said i love my chassis it feels like a slinky underneath me.

      Because karts dont have suspension.
