What I really like is famous people talking about stuff like social anxiety and related issues. We look at media and get used to seeing confident, composed, rational, "normal" people and it is easy to get the idea that normal people don't do awkward things and don't feel awkward with other people. The truth is, most of us do awkward things and feel awkward with people at least from time to time. Even celebrities who go to talk shows and interviews, who meet new people all the time and have to present themselves to new crowds in various circumstances daily - they also sometimes struggle with social settings that they are not comfortable with. One can be comfortable in front of cameras or in talk shows etc, and still feel insecure in various social settings because the "stage" is different. I myself have learned to feel confident and comfortable in various situations involving groups of people, even being in the centre of attention, but then I still feel anxious in certain kinds of social settings. I hate calling people I don't know and sometimes I fear answering the phone when it's an unknown number or a person I don't know well. We probably all have anxieties of some sort, at least a lot of us do. I guess most of us can deal with them well enough to function in this peculiar western culture that we're cast into but it's sometimes difficult. Some have anxieties that are so severe that they impede them from living a "normal" life and somewhere there there is a line when it's best to seek psychiatric counselling. The point is, it's fine. If it's not fine right now, it's going to be fine. Anxiety is a normal feeling. You don't have to enjoy the feeling - I sure don't - but you can live with it and feel good about yourself with all your individual issues.
Exactly. Seeing yourself in a celebrity and watching them be so successful is inspiring. For example, I love Tom holland, Billie eilish and TH-camrs like Markiplier and crankgameplays because they have what I have. Dyslexia, tourettes and adhd. I think her opening story about seeing Jimmy in Seattle is one of the most honest and real things I've ever seen a celebrity say. Especially her expression at the end. Completely authentic.
@adamMost powerful ≠ strongest i think Thor is the strongest avenger, but SW is the most powerful. She was ripping Thanos apart without touching him. If she hadn't made it personal, she could have just obliterated him.
adam Carol is physically the strongest, but Wanda is the most powerful. Even Feige said that Wanda was the most dangerous person on that battlefield in Endgame. He said that Wanda’s powers are tied to her emotions, and watching Vision die gave her huge boost. For her, his death was only a few minutes beforehand, and was still raw. And if they begin to tap into her reality warping powers from the comics, then it’s game over. In the comics, Wanda was so powerful and dangerous that even other superheroes were seriously considering putting her down. Carol has never been considered a threat of that caliber.
