I didn't think I could like her more, but this episode went and made me like her more.
This show has such a rigid formula, but is still so tailored to the guest. Sean is amazing at understanding and adapting to the guest's energy and humor, and really makes them feel comfortable. Absolutely love it
I am consistently impressed by how professional the interviews are. Its so nice watching these famous people actually getting to answer insightful and well researched questions, I honestly think that these interviews would have no difficulty standing on their own without the gimmick, though it is certainly amusing and a great ice breaker. Keep up the great work guys.
i came here from charisma on command for russel brand and i am obsessively watching this fourth episode while nodding out and barely catching coherent snaps of the show still stuck watching the olsen resemblance. and the heat progression. amazing show. and noticing great questions in review.
I think a true sign of how great the interviews are is how often I'll put on an episode of someone who I aren't normally interested in interviews by (unlike say Paul Rudd or Weird Al or something) like Elizabeth Olson or Elijah Wood and then I'm drawn into their personality and you can just tell people are more "real" in these interviews vs, say, a late night talk show.
I love how they didn't ask anything about her sisters. She must be sooo tired of having to answer those questions. Awesome interview, awesome questions and awesome guest 😁
I think she once said in an interview that she and her sisters don't talk about acting when they're together. So she likes to keep work and family separate. She probably asks them to not talk about her sisters for that reason.
And also Hot ones is known to ask things "off the beaten path". It's customary for guests to remark: "wait, how did you know about that?" I bet when Olsen had a bit of a laugh about Sean asking her about the russian acting schools, she was thinking "how did he know?". It's part of the charm of the show not to ask the same old questions.

Thing about Sean - his interviews are amazing. He doesn't ask common questions, which we hear at any interview, he really digs deep. And even though the questions he asks sound simple, they demand answers with emotion, which is why this show is such a blast.

"Oh right we do this." I love how she actually knows this show, the huge name celebrities that come on this show almost always have no awareness of the show, and to see an actress of her fame come on and make references to other episodes, and not be completely shocked by the caliber of Sean's questions, it's just extremely refreshing and says a lot of about her character.
I love Elizabeth's laugh. So rich and vibrant and genuine.
It's customary for guests to remark: "wait, how did you know about that?"
I bet when Olsen had a bit of a laugh about Sean asking her about the russian acting schools, she was thinking "how did he know?".
It's part of the charm of the show not to ask the same old questions.
