So basically it’s either when you damage him to a certain point or there is a secret timer that triggers the cutscene by itself
Same with the Second Sister in Fallen Order, if you beat her it’s a lil buggy because she t poses for a bit but the cutscene plays regardless

I got killed by him and it triggered the cutscene
the third option is actually just die, which is what i did
I was so mad at this part. He was sponging all my attacks and I didn’t even realise you have no stims. When the respawn button came up I sat for a while, frustrated.
Even when I continued, I thought it was a branching path because I’d lost.
This video has brought me peace.
Somehow a dude with a red shirt is harder to kill than an armoured Gen'dai 😂

This game was crazy good, at first i was like "Bode is definitely a spy.. mentioned his daughter? Yeah hes workin for the empire" to "okay why would he risk his life like that maybe i can trust him" then eventually "i definitely trust him now hes a good guy" and man when I tell I yelled "DAMMIT I KNEW IT" when they revealed he was a spy, then i was genuinely SHOCKED when he force pushed Cal

I played the game with the long hair and full beard + black commander suit. Cal was looking like the winter soldier made this ending way cooler

Man I wouldn’t say he was weak. Dude made the lukerhaulk a literal cakewalk. R1 + square to do massive damage instantly and unstoppably to a targeted enemy. Oh and he shoots and stuns and is immortal. Just gotta actually use him

Really wish there was an alternate ending. Especially since it doesn’t make sense that Cal loses to Bode who hasn’t used a saber in years. At least with Trilla it made sense since Cal was the one out of practice there.

Was also about to put this, but at the same time Cal was probably too overcome by shock and rage to focus properly which would be why he got his clock cleaned that easily. Doesn't explain him needing Merrin's help on Tanalorr though, he should've regained most of his composure by then and absolutely mopped the floor with him since Bode would've had maybe a matter of hours to effectively practice using a weapon he hadn't wielded in like 15 years or something.

And by that point we started to "embrace Kals darkness" which is the greatest thing EVER!!! Really gives us some easily displayed visuals of us getting more powerful. The way you crush droids like Luke does in Mando S2? Epic.
Bode is older and more experienced than Cal. Also, we don't know if he was practicing his saber technique while he was staying at his Imperial quarters
@@amarcellus1714 He wasn’t. The echo we find of him taking Dagan’s saber confirms it’s the first time he’d held a saber properly since the purge.
I didn't know i was aggressive with BD by my side, this fight humbled me a lot. It's easy to fight with lots of stims but it's different when you have none.
I think this is one of the better "you loose in the cutscene" fights and so is the one with Vader. It's all in the framing and at this point even though Bode's betrayal had been teased to no end, I felt so blindsided that I was sure Cal would loose this because he'd be just as unbalanced by the situation as I was. It also helps that I actually lost, but taking the healing away and making it a real quick fight with no redos also really helped to not make me feel like my effort was wasted or I was denied something I had earned through gameplay, I could just let the emotions do their things.
This is what I got and thought I failed my no death run. I was confused as I still had half health.
I did this fight 100% perfect so you can imagine how stupidly annoyed I was when it ended with a loss cutscene

In one of my several replays I used the purity perk here. Same thing happened but at least I got to see his healthbar reach 0
So, are we not gonna talk about the fact that cal looks like Peter Quill (Star Lord) Right now?
Clean. I know this is a nitpick but I refuse to use spot dodge. Parrying is harder more satisfying and I absolutely hate watching sabers move literally through the cals chest but do nothing. It shatters my immersion

It is significantly better with the ps5. Doesn't freeze as much or crash after playing for a few hours straight

He doesn't exactly "switch to the dark side". The saber is red because it's Dagan Gera's. After this scene, Bode's databank entry mentions that he's carrying Dagan's saber.
