Low light night video it’s really awesome for the qoocam 3 this is what im looking for. Not many camera can capyure video so clear at night. Thanks for the comparison.
Qoocam 3 camera failed me on paid gig. Tested it on family trip and it was fine. Took it to use for client video and one of the lenses is recording in dutch angle and can't be stiched together at all in mobile app and studio. Due to ~-20 roll artifacts in other software made this footage unusable. Literally after 3 days of shooting it is broken already.
@@arcadeblast4752 waiting for replacement. Support experience was great and I was offered that support will stich my videos. In the end I recorded mostly from one side and was able to salvage the recording with adobe go pro plugin. New unit supposedly will be free from this issue. In my unit you could turn the lens with a rubber cap, there was a little play and it made a big difference in tilt. Maybe my unit was faulty, who knows. I would say if q3 quality control is refined and now they are aware of this issue I would give a q3 a try instead insta due to much better low light performance, (one inch model may be comparable), 4 microphones are also pretty good and gives nice experience in 360 video, first time i feel that it sounds ok on a stick if I want to capture the environment sound. On short stick v-log may be possible. I still think those companies should provide us with parried remote microphones. 4m stick and talking from below is not a great audio experience outside of capturing the environment sound which q3 handle well
On my old 720p macbook air screen, the Qoocam footage looks much better with a very noticeable improvement in detail and focus than the insta. Even looks better higher res than the insta HDR shots. Hope they keep improving the kandau software and make a good dive case for it.
Thank you for this very good review and comparison. I think both cameras are still far from being perfect. Strangely enough, I think the daylight video quality of X3 is better. QooCam looks mushy and plastic with low amount of details. Not all the time but you can see it clearly on tree comparison shot. As for the low light, it is amazing how good QooCam 3 looks! There is another advantage of QC3 that recording is not interrupted by a few seconds breaks as in x3. And another disadvantage that stitching line is removed not that nice as in X3. I own X3 and I'm still confused if I need to change it to QC3 or not. I like to make videos in the evening but in the daytime I really don't like QC3. No LOG profile and no sharpness control too. I will be waiting for your low light tests! Thanks again!
Thanks for making this comparison! I already own the Insta360 One RS 1 Inch, and I use it predominantly for creating virtual tours. I just ordered the Qoocam 3 because I want to try it out as a backup camera to my Insta360. I'd love to see you make a video about the workflow you use for your virtual tour photography. Here in this video you said that it would take around 5 minutes for the Qoocam photos to be improved by the different softwares that you use. Which softwares would those be and in what order do you use them? Do you ever use Topaz AI to denoise your photos? Thanks in advance! I'm a big fan of your channel! PS I really enjoy those action shots of you when you start running with the camera! Very cool! 😃😃😃
Here are at least a few downsides of the QooCam 3 camera - MicroSD card only up to 256 GB - No similar mode to X3 Quick Capture. (X3 Quick Capture mode is very good, you can easily shoot with one battery all day if you shoot only short shots all day)
is it possible that qoocam speeds up shutter speed at night to prevent the bouncing light effect? any way to tell what shutter speed on insta360 x3 is at night if its on auto mode?
I am an action video creator - I love my GoPro 12 with the Max Lens 2.0 superview - picture quality is very important for me - the GoPro can do it - yes
You forgot to mention that the spatial audio is correctly oriented to the videos direction, sth. that even the 5.500$ Insta360 Pro 2 is not able to do 😅

Would you recommend the Insta 360 x3 then? Lol. Did you contact them about a warranty

Which one is more sturdy? Getting one for my kids to play around with.

The workflow the the Qoocam is: Shoot DNG - process through Kandao Raw + - Edit in Lightroom/photoshop - final stitch in QooCam Studio
Thanks for this nice comparison. 😊
Very interesting - nice review
I see no led record light like the X3.I rather have a Slimmer model the Insta is my clear winner I see a lot of repeatitive video
Why are 360 cameras not clear? They all have sharpness issues. How can we get a sharp image?
By going forward in time by 10 years when hopefully technology will be advanced enough for 8K 360 video in a small frame

$100 compared to say accessories is not much.
Qoocam is much better day and night... Insta needs to work harder.. And stop keeping features from old cameras.
wow dude-...
