    I love flying the PMDG 737-800 on FSX; so this video is awesome!! The fact that a real pilot actually uses the HGS in flight is cool. Now I don't feel so bad on the sim. These guys are the real deal in professionalism; & you are for this clip. Could you get more 737 cockpit footage? Definitely subscribing, & thank you for sharing this.

    Loved the video and Subscribed. I post general information of all my flights on Twitter at @CaptJCKidder . I always include a video or aviation photo, not all from my airline, just anything with an aviation theme that I find interesting. I would like to post this video for this mornings flight, all video credit included and unaltered. My flight this morning 07/31/2015 is (ASA851)Seattle, WA.(KSEA) to Honolulu, HI.(PHNL) departing, if no snags by 09:45 PDT. If this is a problem please message me back and I will remove the video immediately. Otherwise thank you in advance for allowing me to share this great video with my followers on Twitter!

    It amazes me how Airbus still can't figure out how to build beautiful aircraft like Boeing. The 737 is such a beautiful plane it looks fast sitting still. The 787 looks like something nature built. The 777 is beautiful, and the 747 well no comment needed. Boeing is a natural at what they do, Airbus not so much. I know they are good at building high tech and reliable aircraft , just ugly ones.

    • @bahenbihen
      @bahenbihen 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dana Steele I wouldn’t necessarily call the 320 platform ugly. I mean look at it: imgur.com/gallery/JVWuE

      What Piffle... Tne interior finish and technology on an AIrbus makes boings look 3rd world... Like America is under Orange Lucifer. Airbus is about quality, Boing is about quantity.

    • @KiedisHaze
      @KiedisHaze 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      A320s with sharklets look better in my opinion. A350 looks better also. Airbus quite literally has changed the game in aviation, especially the technology they employ on their aircraft.

    • @markpotvin7119
      @markpotvin7119 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Except for the A330 and A340, the other aircraft look awkward.

    • @11SEXMACHINE
      @11SEXMACHINE 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, I really think 737's look better. A320's and 19's have that roundy front nose and the 737's have that fast looking nose. They also have the extension from the tail to the top of the body. I flew on an A320 last year and I was impressed. To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference. Except the loud pto on the A320. I don't favor either one, all planes are beautiful to me, just Boeing makes better looking planes.

    After they left the ground, every so often kept on hearing this hissing sound, what was that by chance?????

      +Andrew Silva That is the trim adjusting. It basically auto adjusts the elevators so the pilot doesn't have to keep pulling back on the yoke when taking off/cruising.

      ah almost like a automatic takeoff......

      +Andrew Silva Not really, for example in a car when turning. The cars cruise control always adjusts to maintain smooth turn. Dame applies to an airplane, kinda like cruise control. But it calibrates the planes yoke because the plane's altitude when take offs and landing is never the same, to reduce stress on the pilots to always pull the yoke back a forth all the time, it does that for its self. So that when the airplane is steady in the air, the pilot can continue from where we left.

    What was that switch he was clicking with his left thumb?

      That switch controls the elevator trim for more stable flight.
