Very interesting, and informative.//
Nice view of Sydney, from the cockpit of the plane.//
Excellent Video!
This is one of the first DVD's I bought. I donated it to the local library. I hope it inspired somebody.
Where is the local library? :)
@@uli767in ya mum’s basement kiddo
this captain is a real pro. he could even land the giant aircraft while giving instructions to the camera. he definitely knew what he was doing.
“I want him”…..as a Captain. Both pilots are very good!
Best flight deck video I have ever seen...and I am a pilot. Great communications between pilots, extremely educational. Perfect flight...zero mistakes...Outstanding landing ! Bravo !
I’ve been a reluctant flyer to date but watching these videos has really moved me past the level of anxiety holding me back from turning down opportunities to fly. The professionalism, the constant monitoring and checking I never appreciated. Great job! Thank you for these videos I’ve subscribed to pay it forward 💪🙌
Just think what a privilege it is to watch the Earth go by as you fly over it. There are few things better than that.
Love the calm, professionalism of the Captain and the FO. Kind of inspiring to watch and listen to just how competent and well-trained they are. Air Canada pilots - yup - we're proud of them. Great job. And a great video.
Glad you enjoyed the video and the pilots!
Excellent video! Extremely educational and inspiring ! agree fully ! Easily the best 777-200 LR Cockpit video ..Great Job guys and Congrats!
Love Air Canada. Their professionalism is always apparent from the pointy end to the tail. My airline of choice if not flying with our national carrier (Qantas).
Captain and FO are so chilled, amazing.
What an inspiring moment arriving into a waking Sydney, with that mystic morning light, a dream aircraft at your fingertips... the magic of flight captured beautifully. Thanks JP!
Truly the very best, educational video on crossing the Pacific that I've ever seen. The entire crew were simply Owesome. The degree of professionalism, calmness, camera shots, the Sydney views were fantastic. Thanks guys, job extremely well done! You guys are the best.
It is a privilege of the pilot that can overlook the beautiful cityscape of Sydney from the sky.
Really enjoyed the crew giving some wonderful lectures on weather avoidance and also going through the entire South Pac flying process. Excellent!
Have watched many flight crews on this great channel and wouldn't you know it, Canadians are some of nicest people in the world,
this crew gives a lot of useful and interesting information about their duties. Flying 101.
It may sound "goofy", but I believe that watching these "Just Planes" videos makes me a better driver when I am "piloting" my Camry. Observing these flight crews and their professionalism makes me more attentive to my speed and the traffic around me. Wish my fellow motorists were as focused on their driving as these guys are on their flying!✈
One of the finest cockpit videos I've ever seen. Thank you!
He landec the exact same way as i would have landed....in my dreams of course.
I am not a comfortable flyer but I watched the entire video and was elated/excited when the plane landed. The captain and co-captain were excellent and I felt very relaxed. Thank you.
Apologies...Captain and First Officer ( 😊 )
Fantastic video…I respect you men/women. The knowledge and skill you obtained in training and ability to explain this in a way that is understood..to a degree..is great. Continued blue skies to you all.
The reason my parents immigrated to Canada in 1953 read : Canadians. They liberated most of Belgium. Thanks, guys, for the ride !!
Wow! Two highly trained pilots coolly and landing a big plane! EXCELLENT!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯
The 1st officer is a nav/weather boss. He really understands the science behind it
Mandatory to know the weather and have respect for it, otherwise you wont make it alive in general aviation phase.
Capt is as cooooool as a cucumber... Just a normal day in the office. LOVE UR WORK !!!!!
Flew Air Canada Sydney to Vancouver and then back on a 777-200LR just like this one in 2011. One of the nicest flying experiences I have had, it was comfortable and the crew were fantastic.
Excellent crew team work, Fo was very impressive. Captain is a man that I’d love to learn from.
That captain oozes professionalism! Great landing!!!
iMPRESSIVE electronic systems!!! Very professional and informative Air Canada officers.
This video is absolutely outstanding! Great explanation of aircraft operation, systems, displays, best practices and what it happens on a flight from the front office. Especially on a very long overseas route. The crew was awesome and it was fun to hear them talk about what it takes and how the plane works. Frequent flyer and aircraft avionics system maintainer here. Keep up the great work!
Thanks
Beautiful team work . Congratzs
What a calm tone the captain sets.
Just amazing captain and his first officer👨✈️🧑✈️❤✌🏼
Will take this very flight in 3 weeks from now. Very instructive video. Thanks and congrats to these Air Canada pilots for their professionalism.
Just discovered this channel today. Fantastic! On a side note, I love the Sydney waypoint names: Prawn, Shark, Marln, etc. A reflection not only pf the local, sometimes lethal, sea creatures, but an added touch of Australianese (such as 'Don't come the raw prawn'). Brilliant!
Thanks guys for the time to educate us enthusiasts.
These guys are just so Canadian and polite. I love it.
I believe air Canada is one of the world most successful airline...
I love these videos...So soothing to watch and sometimes - fall asleep to.
RIP to the first officer. Good pilot and will be missed!
That was the best one yet! I could understand the pilots really good and great videography!
The best of the best, I like the way these pilots explain it
Beautiful flight and terrific landing:)
Boeing rolled out their lasting 777-200LR. Long live the 200LR, until they get in more orders. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
Hey JP.....another classic, with cool pilots! Who seriously do their job....Top! Thx for posting JP;)) Keep connecting.....lovely greetings....Betsy.......
My first international flight was from Narita to Toronto on Air Canada 002. I was invited to the flight deck, and was very fascinated to see pilots and flight attendants were working in a very good atmosphere team.
I love the 777 my favourite plane and flew air Canada 6 times 5 777-300ER and 1 777-200LR beautiful planes
me abA380
Flew right over my house....amazing
I love the LOGICALLNESS (if that's not a word, sorry) of Aviation. There is a logical, reasonable answer for everything done. If every thing is done correctly it usually results in a successful outcome
That FO is gonna make a very good instructor sometime during his career. He has the traits of a good instructor IMHO.
Good to hear from fellow Canadians!
Very well done video clip. Excellent camera work and I enjoyed the Captain and First Officer narrations of flight operations. Again, well done by all!
Top class and excellent information from all flight deck crew throughout.
My home airport. Thanks for the excellent video👍🏻🇦🇺
Butter smooth landing !
Cannot wait to see the Videos and God bless everyone 😇🙏
That's my Dad! :)
A really excellent presentation - thank you
This has been a very informative video. Thanks alot you guys.
Very informative, truly amazing professionalism, and technology. Thank you for the video.
777-200lr, the classic airlineer of the long haul. If my there favorite plane
This is the right way to document the pilots’ work! If it were Sam Chui, he’d be talking the shit out of everything.
Back to the time before iPad has become one of the essential onboard facilities.
Back in 1993 I was married on kauai and on our flight back to the u.s. mainland we were in a huge airliner…there were three sections of seating..the side seats and the seats in the middle..just for size reference. Anyway , we almost had the plane to ourselves as there were only around 8 passengers in coach…..so the flight attendants kind of hung out with us, supplying us with free champagne or anything else we wanted the whole flight as they knew we were newly weds…just a great experience….ive often wondered how much in the hole the airline goes into when hardly any passengers are on a long flight like that.
Wonderful video and in depth explanation of modern air navigation.
Thank you JP.
Hopefully, with your efficient fast training, you will have me a pilot yet!
Love learning how to fly a plane!
Thank you!
Taje care too.
😘😘😘
Welcome to Australia, Canucks. I had no idea Air Canada flew into Sydney.
The pilot is just as pleasant at the end of the flight as he was in the beginning. I can tell you right now that I'd be the crankiest SOB by the end of the flight....
thats what a few hours of rest/shut-eye does for these high timers
One of the most informative ones I've watched, great job guys and girls.
Did this flight in 2020, just before COVID. Most enjoyable flight ever.
Amazing they talk about Air france 447, not knowing what really happened. As main wreckage wasn't found till 2011.
EXCELLENT VIDEO. Thank you
May be the best CRM I've watched on the 'tube! :bigthumbsup!:
Beautiful Landing...
We have done this flight a number of times and would be in the air about now if it was not for covid and our prison wardens ie the Australian government . A great time of year to visit Canada starting in Vancouver and flying out from Newfoundland ! Maybe next year , we hope . Great video .
Greased it after long flight! Salute! Texas out. 👊🏻🤙🏻
Oh the good ol' days of flying into Australia and being sprayed before you got off the plane.
Wow pretty realistic, I wish they changed it to
daylight though, love there out-fits too 👍👍👍
It's real, not a sim
Bravo to Canadian Pilot and copilot for travellers from Vancouver to Australia
Best job on Earth 👍🏼
Shame Concorde got grounded ‘03
hi from australia great video
lovely guys, very informational, always wanted to know how the ND works
I love your fabulous channel thanku so much for everything much love and God bless x
Sydney airport is now a ghost town with very few aircraft movements with the current lockdown due to the covid outbreak.
Kinda what do you expect when the Aussie Gov is asleep at the wheel with vaccines
@@askiff1415 60-70% vaccinated here, new cases half that of Australia, with 1/10 the population. You're doing great.
24:00 flying over a sphere? Flat earthers have left the chat
Lmao
Awesome video coming in to my home town.
This was great!
Beautiful view of downtown sydney.//
Def
The long videos are appreciated!! awesome vids
Salute for just plane 👍👍👍✈️✈️✈️✈️
Excellent. Interesting that I didn't hear an alarm when the auto pilot was disengaged.
Yes I was wondering about that.
Always great stuff from JP.
It would be super awesome if you could one day do a live stream of a takeoff or landing (if not full flight)
Amazing 👌👌👌✌️✌️✌️🙂🙂🙂
what precise captain 😃
Thank you 🙏
Great record 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🌺🌺🌺
