I swear. Every time I get a notification you're on a different bike. That 8 looks pretty sinister with the black frame and color shift decal.

Yeah, take it easy. Gradually build yourself back! But, that Roscoe is "on point". Also, you might want to invest in a full face helmet to protect your grill.

Cool video! I bought the Roscoe 8 on Saturday and took it out for it's first trail ride at my local park and had a little crash myself. Tried to ride around some roots instead of over them and slid off a bank. I love this bike. I upgraded from an 820 that I bought in 2001.

Another cool video mate! Really nice to see that you got a Roscoe 8. I have it too and been riding it a lot. I already did quite a lot of upgrades but the best ones I can advice you is to go tubeless, go for a 50mm stem and a lighter handlebar. I also did the saddle, grips and pedals.

I picked up a Roscoe 8 a few weeks ago and love it. I wanted to get a Marlin, like you had, for use on roads and easy trails and then pick up a hard core full suspension bike once I got a little better at trail riding. The only bike that I could fine anywhere was one Roscoe 8, so I bought it. I upgraded the pedals to a pair of Deity nylon ones with the medal studs and they work great. Keep up the videos.

I’ve been riding 2 months now after not owning a bike in 30 years. I went down for the second time on my Marlin 6 yesterday riding with a friend in his neighbourhood. On a sidewalk with bushes/shrubs on my left friends rear wheel pretty much lined up with my front wheel on my right. Friend moved over left, causing me to move my handlebars into the bushes turning me right into the bushes. I bounced off the bushes right into my friends rear wheel, he managed to keep himself upright.

we can all agree that this guy freakin shreds and i love it. no matter how gnarly the track you go with your hardtail. a full squish might be more comfy and can go even harder but you can almost do everything with the hardtail =) btw, invest in some better flat padles, the ones you have on look pretty basic? theres some really decent cheap options out there but they are all a lot better than basic flat padles without the spikes!!!!

I go the same bike! change the hub to the hope pro 4 boost hub. The sound it makes going down trail is worth it!

Hi Matty, thinking about getting the Roscoe 8. Im not totally in to the specs and parts but how does it compare to the 7 on the overall feel of things? By the way how do you get such clear audio on a go pro?

I think they are pretty similar honestly. I would go with the Roscoe 7 if you can get it because I don’t think the Roscoe 8 is worth the price jump. As far as the audio, I think the GoPro audio is pretty good as long as you’re close to the camera

Brian Cha my local shop still has a good amount. But I’m in Colorado so there’s bike stores all over because a lot of people ride here.

So it was a good first ride lol. When i saw the chunk i thought ok here it is. I didn't know you fell again, that was fast. i think you hit a soft spot at a bit of a bad angle. Plus it was dry so the corners, landings can be uncontrolled, plus the rebound has to be set just right as the tire can lose contact. Glad you are not seriously hurt, only your phone. Bike is just battle scars. I was a bit mystified when i saw the 8 was heavier than the 7. I figure it was the fork. Weight distribution change, def changes the feel. I also ride a bit slower on a new bike, and i def ride slower on a course i am unused to, i try anyway.

10:40 Un nivel alto de confianza, pero igual un poco más rápido de lo que debió de ir para su experiencia, pero como dicen, cayendo aprende uno. xD
