PSP is an instrumental trio, formed in 2009 by Philippe Saisse, Simon Phillips, and Pino Palladino, some of the world's finest session musicians. They are combining jazz, funk, rock, pop, and classical music in an amazing way, spotlighting the talents of each performer in the songs chosen for their set list. Fusion at its best!

Man I tell you what out of all the drummers I hear and love Simon has the best sounding snare drums around his tuning is ridiculous
yeah and that on a TAMA, crazy. Normally these drums sound like crap
@@vanomaden I’m a DW player but on occasion I will play a star classic but his drums and especially his snares ridiculously Sound awesom
you haven't checked out Gavin Harrison.
@@drury2d8 oh heck yeah Gavin is another cat that snare drums kills and his Tom’s sound like butter sweet
His toms have always had that signature Simon tone, but that snare? You are not wrong!
One of the best versions of this song.
And I was lucky enough to see this live :-)
Lucky man 🙂
Simon Phillips and Philippe Saisse were born just two days apart. 😃
Amazing how bass and keys maintain time and stay in sync during drum solo. Unreal.
Especially, considering Simon goes off a complicated beat to begin with
@@g.harris They might be playing to a click track. But wouldn't surprise me if they're not; they are top notch players.
They got IEMs and their amazing also
Simon Phillips is one of the best out there. Musical and powerful
The best!
He can compensate for a whole orchestra
When a drummer is soo your style and then absolutly hits it out of the park..That's Simon for me. And Pino dear Pino...my hero since Paul Young / No Parlez album.
Pino Palladino, Tony Levin and Leland Sklarl, my top 3 bass players of all time.
Love this 'stripped back' version of a great tune - superb!
Superb musicians. Great recording too.
Philippe Saisse MONSTER👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow, what a version of this track, and much respect to the piano dude.
My musical heroes are the best!
Awesome .. awesome .. awesome!!!
Musicianship ✅ Beautiful song 👌🏿
Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤
Simon está en el Olimpo de los bateristas completos, multigéneros, fusión rock y jazz.
4 dislikes !?? whaa...

Ha, ha..dislikers do not even play any instrument.
Once again Simon...I'm speechless!
Well, this is beyond awesome - no words here! 🤩👍🙏

Quand on réunit trois virtuoses, on ne peut s'attendre qu'à de l'excellence.
A eux trois ils forment un bloc qui jamais ne se dissout !
Yeah...

This was great 👌, I'm a rock drummer, but love jazz!!! I find it is awesome to switch off and relax. LOVE THAT CHINA CYMBAL!!
It's fusion!
@@keinname629 it's absolutely crazy music but perfectly timed , I'm watching again 🤣
Superlative :)
Coooool ❤❤❤
Люкс вапще разрыв!❤
Simon's influence on the music is clear. VERY 'Protocol-like'. Love it. And I do love Phillipe's piano work.
This is a protocol song. I think off protocol 4. With Andy Simone guitar & Steve w on keys
@@driggerfireon5760 Not a Protocol song. From Simon Phillips 1995 solo album "Symbiosis".
This is great! ( Nothing to dislike)
Would LOVE to see PSP! I have seen each with other bands.... Saisse and Phillips with Al Di Meola and Palladino with Gary Numan..
Awesome, saw them in Vienna 🤘👍👍
Lord Have Mercy!!!
I wish I could play with his blend of relaxation and punch. It's like watching a cat. Beautiful!
Uh...

The only time I saw Simon playing live was while on tour with Al di Meola, playing in Hamburg, Summer 1980 (I guess). I actually expected to see the original "Elegant Gypsy" formation with Jan Hammer, Anthony Jackson, Mingo Lewis tho' neither Steve Gadd nor Lenny White were present but a 23-Year old young drummer I just recently heard about that time: Simon Phillips, his legendary drum set (a white one) and I was just blown away that he could play all those Gadd and White parts so effortlessly and full of verve - that one time was enough to understand that he was really to become one of the greatest...if you haven't done already check out the (especially Simon's') live performance of "Give Blood" by Pete Townsend - he really set the roof on fire there ^^
Amazing trio!
❤️
macNífico!!!
top💥
Mini-Moog!!!
Great. Now I understand why Simon left Toto, he is on another level ...
Yes, he left Toto because they just weren't good enough..! 🎉
Luke's pseudo-cover band of his former glors times has become so pathetic. It's just a money milking machine
🌱🌸💙😀
Ich versteh die Tempi zwar nicht, aber es klingt fantastisch...
I want this concert on CD and on DVD. Help me!!!
You can stream it on our website. See description?
Est ce que quelqu’un a trouvé comment tourne la mesure ? Binaire , ternaire …… 😮
Simon is unreal. Does he age?
UFO...
Simon is a ridiculously coordinated rhythm freak machine - so this is jazz - what else can he do? Check out Sin After Sin . . .
It's fusion
IF THIS, was played in elevators, I would live in there! Lmao!
