Absolutely one of my favorite bassists. Chops and taste…..
Hey Leland, its Chris from Jaze. Thanks so much for your comment! We actually managed to publish this nice concert after its been sitting in the drawer for quite some time as there wasnt really an adequate channel before... This was my little Corona project. Hope you enjoy it!
Mestre!!! Lenda!!!
You're not too bad yourself, sir. 😁
..said my one favourite bassist of the other!
Indeed Lee! And…. Your taste is impeccable!!! Good on ya sir. Hope your beloved wife is making a full recovery !
Sounds like Jaco without the manic excess. Incredible phrasing.
lol "manic excess" is the perfect terminology
Please dump all your unwanted manic excess into my fingers thank you!
That excess is perfect sometimes tho
@@kodykindhart5644 oh absolutely!
Listen to Jaco’s playing with Joni Mitchell (particularly Hejira) and experience perfect fretless bass playing.😊
I never knew Pino had jazz chops,I only know him from Paul Youngs work.A truly talented bassist with a unique voice
Elton John, John Mayer, The Who... he might be the most requested bass player of his era
Gary Numan was the first , music for chameleons
Artistic, melodic, each phrase in the pocket, tasteful, the guy's at the top of the list for me!
One of the Bass Gods... Always a great pleasure to listen and a lesson
This guy flies under the radar for most music consuming mortals. But to those in the know, he's a legend who still has razor sharp skills and a freaky sense of groove!!!
Oh my god! “Freaky Sense of Groove” is now going to be my favorite band name
Im not regretting life from now on hearing this.
Is that a joke? Or do you really expect so little from life?
this man is the reason because i play fretless bass!
LEGEND ! MAESTRO ! TEACHER ! RESPECT TO MY MASTER
An all time great! Plays with D'Angelo too 🔥
Besides the exquisite phrasing and taste, his pitch on the fretless is ridiculously accurate.
Do fretless bass’ have any did indicies on the top of the neck?
@@kyleheron38yes
@@kyleheron38no. Only the usual 3rd 5th positions etc.
@@kyleheron38 it varies. Some have "frets" marked on the fretboard, others have side markers.....others have no markers. Palladino has been playing fretless since he started playing bass so his fretboard "memory" will be very good.
Such beautiful phrasing
Wonderful sound, wonderful music. I met him by Nigel Kennedy’s album.
The guy was a great bassist 40 years ago ...
Obviously still great
He's the peak of bass playing, then and now. What are you saying?
that MIX!!! oh my god!!
Oh my goodness... Soul good man, I'm speechless, just cry a bit 😂
❤ since 1982...
0:35 - Intro to "Brown Sugar" by D'angelo.
Good catch!
it’s too hip. Love that he’s quoting D stuff that he didn’t even play on
Fantastic musicianship!
I've never wanted a MM fretless more than i do now.
Pino ❤
Pino is a gift from the bass gods.
Simply the most enjoyable to listen to.
The guy's just as tasteful in any genre! My biggest influence!
Thank you bro. I can relate ❤️
Beautiful song
Best bass solo ever.
Great taste as ever...
Beautiful. . .
so cool!
Sublime as usual 👌🏿❤️
Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤
speachless ...
A maestro at work!
This is insane
My hero!
Pino is one of the great bass players..
Exquisite
a tasty side of Pino I haven't heard before! thx.
Pino just put me over the edge..I’m about to build me a fretless sunburst stingray..🍻🍻🍻
Если не самый лучший басист то один из самых лучших в мире
🟢 Totally brilliant
Sweet.
It is called a bass solo... yes, he plays lines of notes, but a bassline is something a bass player plays when he accompanies somebody/something. Pino is a great bassist.
So nice to hear the pitch of his notes again - ever since he switched to the red Precision for pop/rock I haven't been able to tell _what_ he's playing. :^/ (And no, Precisions don't _have_ to be so dull sounding.)
Killin’
So sick.
WOW VIPs only!
パラディーノ先生!
hella clean fretless playing
Кто такой??? Гениально!!
Shame he doesn't always play the Musicman Stingray 'cos damn, it sounds freaking epic. Always did.
❤️
I heard Pino say that he couldn't "read" music. SO WHAT!!!!!!!!
i can't find the full version ;;(((
So cool how do I purchase the bass TABS 👏🏻🙏👍

Full concert link? ❤
See description?!
I wonder if he was influenced by Jaco Pastorious.
Yes Jaco is listed as one of his influences.
does someone pocess the full concert ?
Im looking too
Дон Фламинго из Ван писа похоже с него образ взяли
I sound like him. Then I wake up.
Audio!!?
EL AUDIO
please, can someone buy bigger bass to this man?
little bass guitar :)
Yeah, & Pino is about 6'8"!
Simon Philips ain't bad either ;)
What an utterly forgettable sub-genre of jazz. I've heard better in elevators. Flabby, boring changes, somewhat predictable chops, stale sounds - a failure that only a mother could love.
Guess this makes me a mother
Checked out your TH-cam channel expecting to find something better....but nothing at all on your channel. Got some links to you making music?
@@Kiwigeo8339 Yeah, I do.
Show us your chops then lmao
