Best Day of the Year | Birding The Farm On May 12th.

Over the years I have come to think about May 12th being the “best day of the year” for birdwatching in southern Ontario.
This relates to it typically being a high point date for the number of bird species you might see during peak migration. Of course there is no one specific date that is best but for various reasons it’s a date that I associate with the “best day” of the year.
