I’ve been looking into a blob eye wrx as a daily but I’m not sure how concerned I should be about reliability. There are so many mixed messages online.
i bought a blob eye with 174k miles and it was a big mistake, i bought it intending for it to be just a daily driver but it’s so hard to drive normally in them you just wanna keep going fast and i pushed it a little too hard and it blew up, if you’re concerned about reliability look far from subarus unless they’re grandma owned with low miles

I bought my 05 sti 14yrs ago and have only put 19k miles on it. Since 2014 I've only driven it 4k miles just taking small rides to cruise by the beach once a month otherwise it stays in climate controlled garage its my baby
