Austin you have genuinely changed how i look at certain systems in games. i spent a good 10 minutes just watching the sunset in elden ring yesterday. thanks for making such creative and unique videos that change the way I and presumably many others view video game systems.
Agreed. I started watching these videos as a joke, but it's actually really interesting to look at the more mundane aspects of games. Seeing the world building that exists with npcs helps really immerse you in the world.
The graveyard guy is Kust, he's employed, he tends the cemetery. If you count everyone living at the start of the game + the *eight guards (at least 3 in the barracks), it's 29 people. As he's now a prisoner, he would technically be inapplicable. All of the dead people you saw were employed at the time of living. Valdr is another citizen of Falkreath, not currently present until you complete a quest. That makes 30 people, and Valdr is employed as a hunter. Minus the two inapplicable, that makes 28 working people with an unemployment rate of 0%.
The home I built is in the outskirts of Falkreath, so it has a special place in my heart. I took many trips to the lumberyard there to get materials I needed. I really love the landscape and biome of the area compared to most of Skyrim, and the somber mood does not bother me. I think it's a nice, calm town to escape to after a long adventure.
My only issue with Lakeview manor is that it sees more random encounters than the other two homesteads. Ironically, the kids think the marsh house is the scary one.
