I didn't learn anything in this video, but I had fun listening to you, none-the-less. I think you are the Vice-Grip of Kanadastan (Canada), a reference to another one of your vids. Although, I think AvE might be competing with you.
Yup! got one of those screwdrivery/extension/sockety things too:) It came in a little set of 1/4 sockets, few extensions, and "that thing" in a cute little tin box.Dunno where it came from but! I'm 77 now and I know I had it when I was a teen age pup, lol! Enjoying your page ,keep er goin eh !
My question in how the world do you keep the metal from rusting under the spur washer and ground straps?i use a die grinder, clean the metal, bolt down the ground and next time i look its rusty
I think (but I am not sure) that is for EGR. If you aren't using it, plug it. I suggest looking at the (is that Edelbrock?) manufacturer site or call them. I know that's more time, but you would likely get a good answer.
@@kq2799 You can't get the valley cover backwards. the shape is different front to rear. 64-67 valley pans had the PCV in the back. You are right about the grommets getting hard as a rock though.
Love it!!! Great video sir!!!👍👍😂😂

I have one of those nut drivers with 1/4” handle in an old SK tool set. Useful little tool.
100%...😂😂😂... Merry Christmas you crazy old Canuck.
Squinting is a skill that is so overlooked by the youngsters. Grunting too.
The factory used harness tape. No glue on it. Just wrap and knot the ends. Amazon prob has it.
That is the PCV, it should be rubber, but they do get pretty hard over the years, usually routes right into the intake…
I recognize the windshield tracks, I too have a cat that slides down the windshield. I won't watch anything longer than 20 minutes.
growing channel! let’s go!
Oh and the hose that goes to the PCV valve takes off the nipple behind the thermostat housing.
I'm gonna use the valve cover; there's already a plug there that will leak for sure.

Put some die electic(?) grease on the bare steel, I'm gonna go back and do that to all grounds.

That's the factory intake! It's pcv, I'll plug it and use the valve cover hole.
@@kars_tony The valley cover was put on 180 degrees off; also, the PCV grommet gets hard as a rock and makes it a bear to get the PCV valve in...

@@markwilhelm168 I appreciate correcting me on that. I was assuming they were all like the 68-on up...
