I wouldn't change anything. Your rants are funny, I like watching them, but your 2,000 subscribers came from you knowing what you're doing and generously teaching viewers. I understand that certain things can be repetitive, but I like seeing the different vehicles you get and the problems they have and the right way to fix them along with the general body work procedures. I think what you're doing right now is perfect and I wouldn't change it.
After years and years working on cars,(mostly mechanic work) somebody finally shows me how to use the trim tool and why it does what it does, that I’ve had for 40 years!😅thanks my friend!
The channel name is good, keep doing what you’re doing, hanging out in the garage talking about anything auto related while picking away at anything you got going on in the shop. I used to have a group of friends that would just hang out, talk cars and work on each others hot rods. I moved to Ontario for my job and don’t have many gearhead friends here, so this channel helps fill that void.
Name the channel "Grumpy Body Man" lol! Just kidding. Your channel popped up on my feed the other day. I've watched several since. New subscriber now. I was in the body business years ago. Practically everything you say about the business, customers, quality of parts, etc is spot on! Body and paint techs never get the pay they deserve. Most people have no clue! Keep doing what you're doing. Your channel is unique. Keep it original and authentic. We have enough "Hollywood tv wannabes" content creators on TH-cam as it is. You're telling it like it is and keeping it real. There is enough fakeness out there as it is! With you recent growth, you've obviously sparked an interest with an audience. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
Maybe spell out Kars or Phat Tony's Garage/shop for the name. I had no idea what Kars on cars meant until this video. You are the only person on TH-cam I have seen showing how to remove trim and not just manhandle it off. Thanks for sharing man.
I watch a lot of these TH-cam car channels and 90% of the time I honestly wonder if they know less than I do about working on vehicles. 🤷♂️ I often wonder why they want me to watch their 1.5 hour long videos, fast forwarding through 70% of it as filler or self promotion crap that they wouldn’t promote unless they’re getting paid. Phat Tony here is spot on. I just thought up in Canadian they spell Cars with a K like they pronunciation Z as Zed, go to Princess Auto, Decals are Dekals, and eat Ketchup flavored chips.
those rear windows were installed while the car was moving down the line, little respect for the guys who were installing them one after the other all day long! Just do your thang on your channel. It was one of your rants that got me to sub!
Nothing wrong with your current name, imo. I love the information with the added bonus of the very entertaining commentary, sarcasm, and rants. I think most of us are trying to learn how things come apart or how they are put together so we don't do damage and waste time and energy. I hate those channels that just tell you "the next step is to remove the trim" and then viola, the next screen shows all of the trim laying in a pile and the guy proceeds to bore us with 2 hours of scuffing paint.
I changed my channel name a while back and it didn't have any issues with youtube. Yea they started pushing your videos out to more viewers since your getting more views and they can make $$$ on it. I gain a few subs last month myself. You do great how to videos and are funny.
Hey Kines, I'm one of the new followers from the last month. I was suggested your video on Exposing youtube autobody heros. I didnt really know what youre talking about but I appreciated your persona and you came across as someone who genuinely has the old school knowledge thats Hard To Come By. I understand what youre saying about not wanting to be an education only channel. To me as a new viewer you are the auto body version of Uncle Tony's garage. I think that would be a really good channel to emulate as he seems to have found a good balance of education and also following along on his interesting projects and his rants.
I wouldn’t change anything. There’s already uncle Tony’s garage. And you are FAR better. KARS on cars is already known. I’ve already told friends about you. Hell I’ve already started doing raspberries and whistling when I stand up lol
I like the name KARS on Cars. I have no idea if changing the name would slow down your TH-cam algorithm or not. If you do go to Phat Tony's I'd suggest adding the word garage or resto or something like that if you plan on keeping it mostly automotive. Phat Tony by itself really doesn't hint at what the channel is about.
The new name sounds good as long as you don't mind throwing caution in the wind with the channel just getting traction. I have zero idea if that would even affect traction though. You make good enough content I think you'll be fine in the end either way.
I guessed “Killer Automotive Restoration Services” but now it makes sense lol. Oh man don’t be a My Friend Pete. It works for him because he’s salty as hell lol.
I think you should have a guy from California bring his f100 to you so you can fix everything he screwed up that would bring millions of views and save an f100 because he is about to cut it in half.
Honestly the name of the channel doesn't matter. I would probably leave it alone, and just do whatever vidjyas you want ta. If you start doing home repairs, or grooming dogs then maybe think about a different name or a second channel, but until then you are just fine in my moldy book.

Good show learned a lot
Dude Kars on Cars is solid Canadian gold. I would leave it. You are Kars on Cars😊
I just thought that’s how they spelled Cars with a K in Canadian 🤷♂️
Good or bad, yes I am...
Errruuubb....you are a gem!!
Hard to find old school craftsman who care about doing a good job. That and your 5 cent jokes will keep us coming back!
I hope the economy comes around and pushes my jokes to 7 cents.
@@kars_tony well, they just went to 6 cents... 🤣
thank you for the trim education, I need to change a couple on my chevelle but was afraid to give it a whirl
Don't know if I'd call it education...
I used to use a bottle cap opener wrapped in tape to remove that side trim it worked really good, patience is key!

You do great work that's why and your sense of humour
Your have a great attitude.....
Wouldn’t change a thing. Enjoy all your videos.
The name is original and unique, can't put a price on that. Keep doing what you're doing 👍

great tip on the drip rail mouldings. of course, now I'm having one of those "DUH-why didn't I think of that" moments.

On the fence about Phat Tony’s Garage but it’s not bad. Best I got is Quirky Tony’s Garage. I appreciated the trim tutorial.

I like the name you got and you do good work bud
Thank you sir.
Tony just video yourself day to day in the garage working and chatting.
I'ma keep watching weather it's Phat Tony's or Kars on cars but I like Phat Tony's auto works
I'ma keep makin vids, as Kars on cars.

I’ve never watched an Uncle Tony video where he did any actual work on a car 🤷♂️ 💯 just him sitting around smoking cigarettes and swearing
Thank you, and it's actually Kind.
Well..., I don't smoke.
Love what you are doing, keep up the rants, I like phat Tony's but I don't care what you call it .

Ummm....
Wedding invitations?? I agree with Tony….. Ummm..
Manufacturers do go the extra effort to install as many sharp edges inside the door as possible.
Sorry man, i welden one of the hinges on. Had to be done
People say that change is good... people are lying bastards... Cheers from the shed
Bastards!
So ahh... Every one! Lol 😂
The rust in the interior, do you spray rust preventative on it or just leave it the way it is?
forgot to mention the red seal that's a big deal years to attain
I don't think that sticker means much these days.

@kars_tony Ive been watchin him for years. He’s good but sometimes the commentary’s a little over the top lol.
