    Once again, your direct and accurate reviews, and always being prepared to say it honestly is greatly respected. This is another great review that gives me confidence to buy the iPhone 14. I have trusted your reviews in the past and have purchased several mirrorless cameras because of your accurate and transparent analysis and opinion. Well done.

    Really clean and straightforward review, one of the best I've seen. Thank you for including mofe 48MP shots than 12MP because most reviews do the opposite.
    Question: does Night Mode ProRAW support 48MP? Also, is there any difference at all if you use 2X and if you shoot 48MP but crop it manually?

    • @TheHybridShooter
      @TheHybridShooter  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      My pleasure! Night mode only supports 12 MP RAW. There doesn't seem to be any difference between cropping manually or selecting 2x.

    Wow, what a great, pro review. I remember your review of the 13 Pro - and truly, for photographers the difference is really significant in favour of the 14 Pro - perhaps not so much for the regular folks just taking pictures. Oh, and Bratislava is always cool! Greeting from Kraków 🙂

    Great review as always. I think it would also be helpful to compare the 12MP RAW vs 48MP RAW. From my own testing I've found that shadows are excessively denoised using the 48MP mode.

    I am a skate videographer and currently shoot with a sonya7. My hand is coming torked and I want a less heavy set up. Go to lens right now is gmaster 24mm. Can you tell me what would be a great set up for fast pace filming with depth to field blurred background? Thank you

    The camera looks great on the new 14 Pro, and good testing. I was impressed with results you got in different lighting situations. I plan on upgrading to the this phone in the near future. Excellent video my friend, and thanks for sharing.

    Great video!! I wish Apple would go back to the smooth photos it once had. I've worked with Proraws, the photos are really gorgeous, but the moment it switches to jpeg/heif, the photos are insanely over-sharpened and look artificial (something that's been happening since the iPhone 12, but the 14 suffers from it the most, unfortunately other brands apply the same), which basically forces you to almost always shoot in Proraw, because there you can pull off the ugly oversharpening, and then it can really compete with DSLRs that are much more expensive (unless you zoom in and examine the details, of course). We are in a time when you don't have to be sad that you didn't take a big camera on a long hike. So cool!

    • @TheAMGproduction
      @TheAMGproduction ปีที่แล้ว

      Oversaturated, oversharpened. The worst camera by far with ugly HDR that can’t turn off

    • @TheHybridShooter
      @TheHybridShooter  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is basically the product of the whole computational photography thing. Fortunately, using RAW all the time is not that bad besides the file size.

    • @TheHybridShooter
      @TheHybridShooter  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@TheAMGproduction Not really oversaturated. There are worse cases of oversharpening in other smartphones, basically the whole industry goes in that direction.

    honestly it kinda disappoints me, I was looking forward to the iPhone 14 pro to change from my S21 utltra, but seeing the camera results looks kinda "meh..." to me after having 108 max and much more camera features, the only thing that I would choose it by, is the software and the A16 bionic, but honestly I feel a little disappointed.

    • @TheHybridShooter
      @TheHybridShooter  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      High-end smartphone cameras have been very very closely matched for a while. The only “non-meh” upgrade is the amount of detail that it can capture in RAWs, that is unmatched by the competition.

    • @armando6574
      @armando6574 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you are right, I was seeing more videos of it now and the raw experience seems to be the one that makes the difference. still I like the 14 pro and feels like a solid phone anyways, I will look if its worth to wait for the 15 pro in my country or if the price of the 14 pro will stay as a much better option haha, thank u for replying fast anyways!@@TheHybridShooter
