There is no telling how much time this saved me. Actually had two broken wires at different places. Door is working again after years of closing almost all the way and then stopping.

I'm gonna try fixing mine soon. they were both acting up on me they would auto close whenever they felt like it. i could always get them to latch if i just manually slammed them . but now the latch isn't locking it shut. won't latch it closed. i oiled the heck out of them, no change. I'll have to check out that limit switch your talking about . Thank you
I just picked up an 06 Town and Country for cheap because the power sliding doors won't work. I will check our both of your solutions. The passenger side clicks pretty loudly but won't open. The drivers side just makes a very faint click. Maybe it won't need the motors. Thanks for the video.

My 04 Caravan will close automatically but wont open automatically
This seems to be a common problem with this car. I test drove a 06 one today and those doors don't work ethier. One would close verrryyyy slowly
