This album was basically my introduction to indie rock in high school, and your cover is a flawless recreation of the song, while also bringing it up to today’s production standards. Amazing work!
I'll see what I can do! My computer is on its very last legs at the moment, so trying to have a session open and screen record at the same time has been rough lately. Hopefully grabbing something new soon. Thanks for checking out the video!
Missed a couple triads and 5th and 7ths…a fine rendition, above, way above most musicians abilities…color me impressed, check the bass parts again and vox, Paul uses an e-bow to sustain chords without picking ( you would have to had been there also to see the ts-9 settings) lol
I find it interesting that you don’t sing through your Neumann. I assume you like the Shure better. I also find it interesting you use it on your guitar cab.
Great voice and song!!! I’ve got my eye on the ss2 but I wish I could hear one in person but there’s not a one anywhere close to me. Is the ss v2 warmer, more dynamic? (I just found v1 to be stiff/dry from clips-not warm like a Marshall) And is there an issue with a missing effects level on the back?
I didn't think it was possible, but your guitar tone in the chorus actually sounds better than the one on the record!🤯
It’s official this is my favorite guitar tuber.
Shiner is underrated and this is a fantastic cover.
TH-cam needs more Shiner covers. Also nice Failure poster!
Dude covers Shiner. Wow. ❤
So good! Yay. Best band I ever saw. This is still one of my favorite albums. If you ever need a drummer to jam with let me know.
I was watching your Friedman BE video and decided to check out the others. Imagine my surprise. SO well done. Thank you.
How did I miss this!!!!
Year of the Rabbit, Deftones, and now Shiner... Get out of my playlists! :)
He did a Torche song too - he’s all up in my favs too - love it.
Damn bruh. I love this band!
Well done sir, well done.🧐
Wow, sounds huuuuge. Great job, as usual.
Amazing job dude, this is great.

So well done man! Always look forward to your videos 😊🤘
I love everything about your sense of style.from japan
Great tune man. The tones are great, especially the Gretsch.
I second littlejack’s comment a mix break down would be amazing, love your production style, learned a lot from the Royal Blood one

This and Lazy Eye are my favorite on Starless.

Yes, anything by Jawbox

👏👍
Remarkable cover. Almost better than the album.
Add one new Shiner fan.
I was hoping to see those whole step bass bends towards the end. Great job though!

Do you remember if you double tracked the acoustic for the verses? Also double tracked same guitar and amp for the chorus or two different guitars?
Does anyone have bass tuning and tabs?
This one is d standard.
