She was having a good ole time eating all those seeds. Ruby’s saying thank you uncle Patrick for all the seeds today. I love how she rested on the porch and how long she stayed relaxing there feeling safe and comfortable. Loved when you said no, it’s not for rent. Thank you Patrick for filming until she left. I know that was quite a while. Ruby is such a beautiful big bear 🥰

Busybodies and "do-gooders" probably reported him. Amazing the unimportant stuff people will complain about while ignoring the depravity and evil of the world right in front of their eyes (including the "authorities").

You are giving us amazing joy with these videos...yes...but you are showing humans that there can be peaceful coexistence with our wild friends. After all we did all move into their world. Since the birdseed findings have been far and few between, Ruby had to make sure she picked up every last drop. Ruby is such a beautiful, relaxed and sweet bear. And her level of comfort with you is beyond compare. "New rules" has me a bit concerned. I certainly hope it's not what I'm thinking. You have been so good to these precious gentle giants and you have a lot of supporters. Take care, Patrick ❤❤

@MelbaOzzie that someone complained to DEM, and they've told him to stop putting out bird feed (even though in the past, he's worked with them and there hasn't been any issue, bc he's not feeding the bears)
There's always that one person that complains about everything. I used 2 feed squirrels awhile go on my porch
They would come up 2 me and grab a few nuts & leave. Neighbors said it was dangerous & unsanitary. Ya Whatever.
@@lildebboston455 understood, and those Boston squirrels are also friendly. But there's a difference between squirrels and bears

It must have been pretty hot day, this Sunday. Ruby seems to enjoy the bare ground but still protects the bird feeder ( the magic box with sweets 🙂) and she is very sociable bear. Thank you for sharing😊

I am hoping that mom smells all the other bears that come around and keeps her babies safe by staying away. If you need a reminder of their cuteness just go back and watch the video of all of them scurrying up the tree at the same time. ❤. I rewatch it all the time!

Well that was a very well-behaved and appreciative visit from Ruby. For a while I thought she was going to lay down and take a nap. It was obviously a dream come true.
Go by hangout with Pat have some bird seed, sniff everything, and lay in the shade. Thank you Patrick that was a wonderfu bearl video.

It is totally amazing how carefully Ruby moves that bird feeder at the 20 minute mark!! Good thing you don’t have a lot of deliveries to your place, could you imagine a UPS driver coming up your walk and running into Ruby laying under your bushes or even on your porch!😂😂 Ruby is so relaxed laying around your porch with you. What an awesome experience you get.

Parick! Been following you for quite a while and been quite impressed about what you show so regularly. We have been raised with the radical view of us-vs-them (be them wolves, bears etc...) ad its tragic consequences (mostly for them!). You are demonstrating that it does not need to be on such a basis and that carefully managed human and wildlife peaceful and even loving relations can be developed and exist. That does not mean that I am ready to share the life of one of these bears (like the fool in Alaska) as this is not Narnia. But I thank you for opening the evidence of the of possibility of a more appropriate and positive relation between us and wildlife.

Okay, I’m going to take a few “wild” guesses as to the “new birdseed rules” coming out. 😅
1. Supply chain problems with “getting birdseed” 😂
2. Someone complained to someone about all the beautiful wildlife that stops by Patrick’s porch and not their house. Jealousy!
3. Feeder got broken beyond repair or was carried away. 😂
4. New HOA rule, can only feed birds when bears are hibernating. 😯
5. Ruby has said Patrick is not allowed to feed any creatures smaller than 150 lbs. 😂
6. Birdseed prices have tripled (which I can attest to). 😕
7. Ruby & her friends have been slacking off at work, taking too many breaks going to Patrick’s porch. 😂
8. Patrick or Yard crew can’t complete the work on beds without being interrupted by bears, birds, dogs, raccoons, deer, etc. So crews can’t get into work. 😬
9. Forest Rangers are losing their jobs because all the wildlife has disappeared from the forest because they are at Patrick’s porch. 😊

Patrick loves those bears 🐻 more than we do. Someone or a group forced him to do this. How could they obtain any satisfaction from destroying a old man's pleasure in the animals he loves so much ? I don't live in a place where I could ever even hope for regular visits from animals like Ruby but once we make it to Heaven we can look forward to not only having guests like this on our front porch but be able to interact with them as well!
