- In this video I perform a piece on the Moog Subharmonicon and Soma Labs Terra. I only got this piece today and was so inspired I had to make a video. What you will hear is my first experience with this instrument. If you enjoy the music please like and subscribe.
Lovely.
Thank you!
Nice ambiance. I have had my SubH for 1.5 years now and it still amazes me.
I'm having so much fun with it. I'm very happy to have it.
I've wanted one for a long time and some of the Soma stuff too. Beautiful demonstration! I highly relate to your music and style. I tend to find bits and pieces of myself in it. Cheers
Thanks. The Soma gear is great. The Moog is tricky but does some real nice things. It will take me a minute to really figure it out. I got lucky with this video.
As you say, really beautiful. 👍👍
Thank you.
Very nice!
Thank you.
nice one brother, a very nice piece of ambient sounds and textures again!
Thanks my friend. My first baby steps into the modular world. I'm lost already.
@@SoulSearchingGaijin I am sure you will find what you are looking for!
@@SoulSearchingGaijin beware of the modular rabbit hole 🤑😳
Really nice!
Thank you!
Very enjoyable. Given that’s the first time you experimented with it that’s quite something. I’m not entirely sure how to even begin using that Moog instrument. 👍
I feel the same. It has a place but needs attention to make it work for you. Even then you're kinda just along for the ride.
can you read my mind? I just started to look for Subharmonicon videos a few hours ago 🤔☺️
Thats crazy. I just got this on a whim today. I have no idea how that music came out so fast. I've been struggling with it the rest of the day. It is real cool but a beast to tame/learn. Be warned it is a time sink but well worth it if you like to challenge yourself.
@@SoulSearchingGaijin Looking forward to see how it integrates into your setup. I'd love to play with it some day (but actually currently more curious when my UB-Xa D pre-order will be fulfilled (so far no ETA)) 🤓
@@ZeitfrakturDE I know how you feel, I hate the wait. New gear is always good for sparking new ideas. I hope it comes in soon for you.
@@SoulSearchingGaijin As you advised before, there is enough to enjoy already and new stuff is not necessarily needed. But still I simply love to explore new gear 😎
Also just adopted an Akai Force from a friend, added powerbank USB-C PD to DC (also did this with Digitone2 and Syntakt recently) and just took it with me in our campingbus to Norway ⛰️
@@ZeitfrakturDE New gear is and always will be my weakness. As long as you are inspired by it and put it to use I don't see a problem with it. Of course we have to pay the bills first lol.
I can’t find one anywhere unfortunately. I want to pair it with my Matriarch and Grandmother.
I was lucky and found one at a used music store in Osaka. I was trading in some gear for an old Electribe sx the red sampler and got more money than expected so I saw the Moog and grabbed it also.
@@SoulSearchingGaijin I just found one used as well that’s on its way. Hoping to create some nice ambient tracks with it!
@@AnomalyB31 It's a lot of fun. I'm sure you're gonna love it.
Meh it's OK not that "beautiful"
All good. To each his own. Thanks for checking it out.
@@SoulSearchingGaijinon the contrary, I think it’s really great. Loving the sounds, textures and flow.
@@rfj_4337 Thank you. I don't take offense. Everyone has different taste. Life is too short. I want to spend my energy focusing on the good in it. I am grateful for your comment. It means a lot to me.
@@SoulSearchingGaijintrue we all have different taste but theres something a bit scummy just popping in to say something *isnt* beautiful, you could just keep scrolling. I thought it was beautiful too for what its worth
@@solconnection2Thank you. You guys are the best.
