Regarding being annoyed by crowds of people, which I also feel when going to a mall or town: I feel this as well, more and more. But on the other hand I realize people are still individuals, they are not the crowd. Everyone has its own struggle and history. It is not the matrix, so not a projected crowd to (dis-)satisfy you. This helps and reminding myself to this makes it even kind of iteresting, explore their story a bit. Also, in regards to politics and media: I don't really believe they want to keep up in a certain state... same non-matrix explanation. There is no them. All are individuals, even if mergig partly to form or being formed by organizations or whatever groups. Especially the pandemic made me think of how hard it must be to be a politician. Maybe started with hopes and idealistic drive to make things better. You can not do it right for everyone, since some blame you for telling/doig this, while others love you for that. And the opposite for another decision or thought.
Thanks. I do my best everyday to stay on track and do the right thing. I just want to see others take the hard first step. It is a little scary but well worth the effort.
Man, this video comes in the right moment where I'm questioning why I always put my music project in an "ideal horizon" and meanwhile I always "need something" to get there (be it knowledge, gear, etc.). I'm challenging that and in the process of taking the hard first step assuming that what I do is the best I can do today and it is a momentary reflection of my process at this time. Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration.
Of course your message resonates with me. As an aging musician, what seemed important to me in this world has all but vanished, with the exception of focus and especially with what that creative spark in creating sounds and music initially started my personal journey into electronic music synthesis. The world can be a harsh environment to live in. But one can take solace from the harshness of the world, and immerse one's self in what is a true reflection of our inner most being. For some it is books, others service to other peoples well being. As we age our emphasis and take on life, should reflect our inner most self, wherever that may lead you. Time for us is short, but the journey to gnosis is can be formidable. "Peace I give you", and " May Peace be with you." Respectively Expanding Knowledge.
What a great message. I stumbled into art/making music fairly recently in life (middle age) and I've been on a similar journey. Wanting to be good at this, not feeling confident that what I make is worth sharing, and tying my identity too closely to it. This video made me pause and reflect, and I appreciate your generosity in making and sharing it. Subscribed, and looking forward to more of your Sonicware Ambient0 videos (I've just started learning to use one as well).
It's the hot new thing. I love it. I need to learn so much gear in depth I hope I can do more updates on what I'm learning with it. It is fun to play even if I really don't know too much of it yet. Thanks for the sub!
I am always torn between hard and software. I like both and also like my DAW and would not want to blame it for not being productive. I still remember times where the flow came and I made songs and ideas in a one evening pass in a DAW. I love the options with all these nice plug-ins nowadays and it is probably rather important how you utilize your tools. Same for analog vs digital synths. Does not matter at first as long as it allows you to express your music.
I hear you and have used a DAW for many many years. I just enjoy the hands on feel of hardware. I like to grab a knob and tweak without having to map a midi controller. I agree that you can be just as productive in a DAW it's just my preference at the moment to use it less.
I could write novels upon novels commenting all the details of your talk, but I'll just say this: you are 100% right, starting with the title ;) Have a great w.e.
And again, thanks for the video and thoughts ✌🏼

Right there with you. Do you and enjoy the journey. Thank you for being a good person out there.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on creativity and just "going for it", much appreciated!
No problem. It was just on my mind a lot lately.

I wish you all the love the world can offer. Thanks for finding me. I'm honored to call you my friend!
@@SoulSearchingGaijin Thank You, my friend. Looking forward to your next video production, Love and Light to you!

So relatable - good on you for just going with the stream of thought
I really don't know any other way. I hate to script and suck at it. Thanks for watching.

Digging your vids. Found it while learning about my Ambient0. Needed to hear this instead
Thanks so much. Yeah I need to rewatch this every week or so. The music game can mess with your confidence sometimes. Thanks for the comment.
I struggle with a lot of those same things too
Thank you! Coming from you that means the world to me.

Thanks so much. I ramble a lot and am new to talks like this but every now and then I feel the need to just get on camera and talk.
@@SoulSearchingGaijin You did the right thing.
