Here's a fun fact about Warptorio. When warping to a new planet, the old surface (and anything on it) gets deleted, but anything airborne is not. I forgot to pack up my non-platform mining before I hit warp, so I was frantically deconstructing it with bots with a few seconds remaining on the clock but jumped into the teleporter before all bots had returned to avoid getting stranded. A few minutes in on the new planet the bots I left behind came limping home.
As a seasoned watcher and lag expert i hereby certify this movie as "B+ watchable". Still get a fiber or at least steal neighboor's fiber-based wifi :D
Thanks for sharing the replay! I quite enjoy the ability to look at two really differents let's play on the same modpack from you :) have a nice day :)
when i first made enrichment i had it handled by bots. suddenly i had no dull ore to enrich, or make fuel cells with. so i made a system that counts the ratio of dull to bright and only allows enrichment to continue if the storage of dull is greater than the ratio needed for cells.
can you automatically refill the turrets on the mining outposts when they are back in the base? Put a belt with ammo around the outside of the platform with inserters. I've never played warptorio so I'm not sure
Yes, but then the inserters would put the ammo on the ground when the mining platforms are deployed. The intended solution is to make use of one of the mining platform’s warp loaders to belt ammo to the mining platform (once it’s at its maximum size).
@@ExEBoss There are solutions to this like by using the Warp Harvester Circuit Connector so they only insert when the platforms are retracted. I had some other ideas for things that could signal that the Harvesters are back since the Circuit Connector is behind purple science but never implemented anything out of laziness as well as fear that I would forget to disassemble it before growing the floor size again.
30:30 wait until you see a rich planet... patches of 10´s to 100´s of millions in the of anything you´d like, oil in the 10 of thousands percentage. My thought when i first hit that kind of planet was "ill never leave".
@@MichaelHendriksLIVE lately i´ve landed on quite a lot of them, and on those rich planets the biter bases seem to be much father away then on any other planet.

Mike starts talking at about 9:34.
Are you really underground in Warptorio? Or are you in some kind of pocket dimension? 🤔

did the stream get cut or is it an editing decision? or was it just shorter?
I think the stream was cut into multiple parts.
Mb there were some problems with uploading the recording, so he split it up
this is 3 parts (7a/b/c) due to connection issues, published to youtube 1 day apart

yes, but 10 ammo per turret (which is when inserters stop inserting) is a bit low if getting in trouble
really gotta fix the stuttering problem my guy.

Those planets also have richer than usual biters though

mb luck of the draw, rich planet mod code sets all biter settings to 125% with no changes to starting area
@@MichaelHendriksLIVE weird. guess i´ve just been very lucky.
i'm a little sad the spaghetti era is over. the bots phase feels extremly uninspired in factorio (not meaning you en particular)
