Bisimoto tested the turbosmart BOV and said while on the dyno that BOV’s on 10th gens the MAP and MAF help blend your mixtures properly and that to only buy products with good quality and seals

The intake alone was loud enough you can definitely hear the difference with and without the intake so when you run the intake with the BOV, you’ll hear the intake along with the whistle noise from the BOV

No tuve ningún problema cuando lo tenía en el carro, el carro funcionó bien y lo hizo más divertido de conducir y la experiencia fue excelente. Lo recomiendo, suena muy bien combinado con la ingesta.

Congrats on the purchase that thing is beautiful! HKS blow off valves are pretty much universal, the only thing I’m not sure about is if you’re going to need a different type of adapter or if it would even be possible. I’ll try to watch some videos to see but I feel like it might be challenging to find out since the car is so new.

Your car is gonna be fine, I never had any issues running it on mine and I didnt even have a tune. You’ll have a blast with it and it should not give your car any issues whatsoever.

Hey! No I did not, everything should line up and its pretty simple just drill into the holes. I recommend using heavy duty automotive tape in between the holes for extra support

Hi yes I believe it does fit all the 10th gen have the same fittings. Should say it on the website also

I have videos where I have both the BOV and the PRL intake, it sounds good you can definitely hear it.

Hey would this work on a 10th Gen coupe lxp
Hey!
I just looked into it right now and unfortunately it doesn’t look it will work for a 10th Gen Coupe LXP. I might be wrong though but it said that those models Do Not come with Turbos, if yours has one then yes you can get this Blow Off Valve but if not then No you cannot use this blow off valve.

one question, how does it drive with springs, it doesn't jump much oh it stays intact?
Hi! It drives amazing, the suspension is silver in a good way. Definitely less body roll and no rubbing at all even with passengers. Not bouncy even when you hit a big bump and it’s low but not too low to not clear anything on the road, you just need to be careful. Honestly I recommend them more than the Eibachs.

I amazing the sounds the the power definitely recommend it for a mod they say say it adds 60hp and 80 torque and you definitely feel it starts spinning tire first gear at 4 5 6 thousand rpm

I might have an opportunity to get a nismo 370z in a couple of months so I’m really holding off on putting more money on the hatch but if it doesn’t go through I’m definitely gonna go back to modding the hatch, both will be great content so stay tuned! I’ll keep ya updated!

Hi! Its working amazing so far, better than my Turboxs bov in my opinion.
How did yours hurt your car? The Turboxs bov I had did perform kind of bad on my car, it leaked a lot and caused my car to run super rich and sometimes even go on limp mode. So far this HKS bov has been great:)
Nvm I’m sorry you’re is recirculating mines vented to the air and made me run to rich and confused my ECU

How does yours make those little burble sound, exhaust or what’s done to it

For the exhaust I had a muffler and resonator delete, I had a PRL Cold Air Intake, and the blow off Valve.
Im pretty sure the burbles came from after I put the blow off valve on because blow off valves do make your car run a little rich. I’m sure having a muffler and resonator (or a catback exhaust) helped with burbles and little pops also

Man everything was good! Not sure if you checked out my channel at all but I got rid of the Civic and I now have a 370z Nismo.
I had the blow off valve until I had to sell the Civic and I had 0 issues with the car. If you’re planning on doing it I 100% recommend it, it makes the car so much fun to drive.
Just make sure you get a good adapter and you’re golden

It shouldn’t! Just make sure you get the right adapter, install it correctly, and make sure there’s no leaks and you should be good:)

Running a BOV or vented BPV can result in a bad time on a MAF based car. This is because the air escaping has already been measured by the MAF sensor. The ECU determines a specific amount of fuel needed to inject into the engine based on the expectation of this air being present. If the air is vented, the car will run rich. This will happen every time air escapes through the BOV. Runnig rich can lead to fouled spark plugs, surging idle, backfires, premature cylinder wall wear, and other issues long-term.
@@yosammy1746 only proven long term issue is burning up the cat prematurely.
1.5t civic hatch 2024 will it work on that?
To be honest im not sure if the fittings are all the same. Not familiar with the 11th gens at all. Look up to see if the fittings are all the same if it is then it should work but then again you might want to look into a tune, those 11th gens might be completely different

I had an intake, muffler and res delete, and the bov in this video so that might be why the pops are there
I think having the manual transmission helps get the pops too because you’re able to rev it higher than automatic

I’ve done everything else by myself at my house, only thing I’ve gone to the shop for are for my muffler and resonator delete and my tints, both shops are from Vegas.
@@_d_g_o_t_ I bought a 3 inch front pipe couple months ago but have not got it put on yet. One place said 375 I was like heck no at meineke. Guy online I watched him put it on he said it took him 45 mins Max. Guys at meineke said it will be a 3 hour job. I was thinking theyust be clueless about mufflers and stuff. I may get one of those little shops around the guy online said even 200$ is too much so hopefully I will get a shop to put it on for $150. I would put it on myself if I had a lift machine to lift the car in the air and all the right tools

@@Richard93_ what I did was I deleted the mufflers first to see how I would like it, I thought it was too quiet so I just came back to the shop and had the resonators deleted too.
So maybe that’s something you can do:)

@@ownitdontwasteit I switched to this one because the old one I had kept getting stuck on the open position so it kept leaking. I took it off at the end because I ended selling the car but the HKS paired with PRL intake was the best set up
Take the BOV before its too late man! you'll thank us later. what sounds better than this is getting the cobra cold air intake for your 10th.
10th gen civic bov has been proven a hoax long ago, you can still delete this...
PRL CAI Race sounds better + it helps with the performance, I decided not to buy BOV and stick to my CAI happy so far.

it's all fun and games until the valve stays stuck open and the car leans TF out
This happened when I was running a Boomba Racing BOV. It was terrible it happened couple of times even after cleaning the BOV and making sure everything was sealing correctly.
You could just hear it pushing out air and messed with acceleration it was terrible that’s why I made the switch to the HKS
You're going to have problems in the future. The ECU calculates fuel to a BOV that recirculates back into the intake. Since you're now venting to the atmosphere you're gonna run rich, foul plugs quicker and start stalling at stops soon.
Recently found out that this was a myth. Look up Bishimoto, he made a video testing this

@@thatguyryan648 Tuning does not help compensate with any aftermarket BOV/BPV. Again, this is because the air was already measured by the MAF sensor before it reaches the engine. And because there's a BOV/BPV in between, it throws off the proper measurement needed to combust properly thus causing engine to run rich and cause issues as mentioned above. In other words, the a/f ratio will be thrown off. These civics were not built to run any BOV/BPV. It's best to just have an aftermarket intake and downpipe if you really want the turbo noise.
@@yosammy1746 with this kind of bov isn’t the vent opens up only when realising the throttle and some air will be blown out thru the open vent and that’s the noise where produce. So meaning the measured air by the maf is still the same amount of air going inside the engine because the vent is still close and opens up only when releasing the throttle. And it is only split seconds that it will stays open because of the spring inside.
