Finally got my hands on the new Kraton V3 (2018 edition) and looks like ARRMA have been busy adding some improvements to this already awesome truck/truggy. I'll take you through all the changes and upgrades that have been done and hopefully you'll be as impressed as I am.

Just ordered it off tower hobby.
My first rc in over a year.
I sold all my rigs last year. I thought I was done with rc.
But.....I’m jonesing real bad.
I miss my revo and emaxx. Tower doesn’t carry traxxas anymore because of a stupid dispute. Sooooo now I can’t buy traxxas because I’m poor and use the easy pay option on tower.
I’ve owned an arrma vortex and granite a few years ago. I New right away they were going to make a push on traxxas and hpi. Turns out I was right. These guys are building game changing rigs.
I’m super stoked to open up my Kraton.

The V3 is awesome but not quite enough to upgrade from my V2 Kraton. Id Love to have that battery tray in it though. Can’t wait to see your speed and bashing vids of this rig!

The Kraton is tough to beat price toughness and handling. Arrma has done a great job of updating these Bigger shock shafts awesome

You should make a videos of ideal batteries for bashing, probably organized by scale or amount of lipo cells.

Great review. I think the Kraton May be Arrma’s best all around car. I have The Typhon and the Outcast and absolutely love them both. The Kraton will be my next purchase. Had 5 Traxxas cars and sold them. It’s nice to run my Arrma cars and them not breaking every 2 minutes like Traxxas. I’ve had both my Arrmas for 4 months and one of the servos went bad. Which Arrma quickly sent out a replacement for free. That’s it. No breaks.

NICE! I just picked up a v2 Kraton on super sale. Interesting to see what's changed. I was going to add bigger bumpers anyway. New mud guard, batt tray and the stronger servo mount are nice to haves. Shocks changes maybe, but I also have a v2 Typhon so I appreciate having dual v2 Arrmas so the parts are compatible between them. NICE SHIRT! Hey ARRMA I'd look good in that. :)

How does the v3 kraton compare to the v3 outcast?
Ive got a V3 outcast and I can say its a blast in the snow and at a skate park. both of the cars have the same upgrades from V2 to V3, there aren't many big differences.

Aussie RC Playground ahhh. Wasn't sure. I don't know the Arrma line well. Though will be getting one in 2018 for bashing. Haven't decided which one yet though lol 🤔
This may have been asked earlier. Have u messed around and discovered if it’s possible to add the v3 upgrades to the v3?
How are the diffs out of the box ... do they need to be tuned at all ?

I have a E-revo, and this looks better and better built. Do you think so? I'm thinking of getting one.
Most people I know that have the E-Revo and Kraton at the same time end up selling the E-Revo. I’ve also driven the E-Revo myself and although it’s ok, it does not compare to the Kraton.
At the end of the day, it’s your choice, but history shows that once you get a Kraton, you quickly start to compare every other RC to it. The Kraton is the standard all other RCs are trying to get to. 😉
Which one do you think is more durable.? This arrma kraton or for example an arrma raider xl
Vas, have you reviewed so cheaper models, like Fury?
What are the speeds out of the box on these? Stock gearing, and with the optional gearing.
The reason I ask is that there is one for sale locally, and the owner is claiming 70+ MPH stock out of the box, and 100+ MPH with the optional gearing.

I've had mine since the 15th. I've used it for only about 2 hours. Now I can only get about 5-10 min and the servo becomes unresponsive. I've contacted support. Hopefully this is a fluke and support will come through.

Yes, the 2018 OutCast came out at the same time as the Kraton, so it’ll have the latest updates.

question I want to buy a new car 1/8, I already have a thundertiger mt4 g3 what a beast is that, or I buy a new mt4 or I go for the latest arrma kraton, I'm not familiar with arrma, I know the thundertiger can not be broken, what about the arrma kraton?I want to make this new car so that I can do speed runs with it, so which choice is right, (mt4 or arrma kraton thanks, regards hollandia
I had the v1 with the blue body and I had almost no issues with it. Being the dummy I am I sold it to to get the xmaxx and now I have neither and i wished I would of kept the kraton!

You should utilize the overhead cam more more. Not that I enjoy staring at your mug when you're explaining the issues or parts it close up view would help
Why would they not close the shell off behind the wheels, to limit the sand, dirt and stuff that can get into the car? i am so confused. The less dirt you get into the technical parts, the better.
Oh and the holes in the rear bumper to add spark spitting flints for when your pulling wheelies! No joke, have a look www.arrma-rc.com/kraton/
Idk, this car. It’s to simple. I mean everyone haves there own taste. But I believe almost every RC company gets lazy in one car.. just one flat plate and put a esc and a motor in it. Cheap to make. Maybe cost them about 10 to 50 to make it. It’s like a T maxx Style. Easy DIY
Does Metro stock the Kraton?
Yes, but whenever we get them in stock they sell very quickly, there's more demand than we can supply. There were 2 or 3 OutCasts, a couple of Typhons, a Nero and Fazon left on Christmas eve, but no Kratons. Now we are waiting on new stock to arrive.
