The Arrma Kraton 6s BLX was a late Christmas present to myself and it's so awesome! I've had it since just after Christmas and loving it. It's not cheap at £500 but stupid fun and so capable. 😄
Lots of tinkering and upgrading at the moment until we can get out and about again to properly put it through its paces!

Kraton is a great car!
I started two years ago with a cheap truggy and now I am racing onroad touring cars on racing tracks.

Very cool video! So true that we all need something to keep us sane... so a hobby like this is great! Kinda funny: I found your channel while looking for info on Davinci Resolve. I'm an RC enthousiast for over 25 years and although I like taking photos and videos, I just recently start to have more interest in making something more half decent. :-) Love your channel, loads of useful tips, great tutorials and I definately wouldn't mind seeing some more RC fun! That’s cool!! Similar story that I always wanted one as a kid and what was worse was I had a local RC shop ‘Penn Models’ but all I could afford at the time was the catologue! Shop is still going today so it’s due a visit! I’m not sure they still sell ‘The Lunch Box’ monster truck but a Truggy looks cool! 👍🏼

It's very niche. But fun. I've had 2 rc cars for a few yrs now. One of them is probably as fast as yours and I'm only using 2s. If you use full power at 6s on yours then yours would be much faster than mine. But still, both of mine are more stable - I've tuned them up to not do wheelies very easily so I have more control and power on the ground. A word of caution - once you get kids, you'll be using the RC car much less, especially if you're the main caretaker and you're stuck at home w/ the kids. The other problem is since I'm the only camera person, I can't control the car and record video simultaneously. What I need is a GoPro or something mounted to my head so that wherever I look, the camera looks too. So if you have any suggestions on how to control the car and record video simultaneously, please post a video about that! I don't want to spend more than a couple hundred dollars on a solution.

@@MrAlexTech To be completely fair, my first car was a Subaru Rex, a 700 cc car, that was slower than my sister on her bike! lol lol
I run mine on 4s and trust me its plenty! Trust me, you dont need 6s, no-one does really. I also advise running the typhon on 2s - much better performance and a lot safer

How long does the battery last and do you plan to add a camera mount ;-)
Depends on how much you thrash it 😆 15 minutes if you go mad but generally about 25/30. I've got a couple so can just swap them over and keep on trucking.
Oh and yeah there'll be a camera mount added 😃

Never mind these toys Alex, solve my problem. I converted some old VHS from 1989 to mp4 using VLC media player. On impoeting into the latest iteration of DaVinci loaded yesterday, I find that the audio does not work. So recorded the audio direct from the computer using Audacity in mp3 format and replaced the audio in DaVinci with these mp3 files. Still will not play , If I just select the audio track in the edit page it will play but not in Fairlight. Any ideas.

Hey dude. I just ran it on 4s initially as it was my first proper RC so wanted to get used to it first. Now that I'm used to it I run it on both 4s and 6s with a 15t pinion so it's faaaast 😁
@@MrAlexTech Cool I run mine on 2x3s and it's insane I only have it switched to 75% most of the time at 100 it's just a complete animal, I had only had it 2 hours and had to go back to the shop for a wheelie bar why they're not standard I've no idea, it's a fantastic truggie though and takes a massive amount of abuse.

😆 They're really not! There are cheaper ones but you're looking at a few hundred at least to really get into it.
