Maybe a hero is to kill all bad peaple but jack should of left the betrayal he did not have to go with him jack has crazy ideas maybe jack is the hero I don't know he was alright till the biggest arse on the moon decided to take a shot at him big mistake but killing his scientist's is not a hero's work that's somone slowly loosing control

He was experimenting on Angel (and built her prison chamber under the guise of an experimental Hyperion AI server) from the moment he knew she was a siren. His wife objected to having their daughter being imprisoned in a chamber and she mysteriously "disappeared" soon after. Angel apparently doesn't know what happened to her despite being her supposed killer as she asks where's mom when Jack forces her into the chamber (already built and fully operational...pretry convenienr for something supposedly built as a response to Angel killing her mom). Jack himself just says "Mommy's gone" and forces her into her eventual coffin (and strangled the only employee who dared to mention his wife). So Jack exploited Angel's powers from the get-go and murdered his wife when she tried to stop him (and anyone who dared to broach the subject). Then he spins this false tale of Angel murdering his wife to "justify" imprisoning Angel. And since only Jack and a handful of Hyperion employees (who are probably all dead after Helios crashed) knew the truth, Jack's lie is the now the perceived truth. Did the betrayals in the The Pre-Sequel make him unhinged/homicidal? Definitely, but he was already a sociopath from the get-go NEVER a hero. And the unfortunate thing about sociopaths is that they are really charming at a glance but see everyone as just expendable tools at the end of the day. Hell, he sacrificed Wilhelm for kicks and was just surprised/mildly irritated when you killed his current girlfriend Nisha. Tl;dr Jack was never a hero, only a sociopath pretending to be one.
