It’s really great but not a deal breaker for me, as you do lose some color vividness. You can get a FloLab NanoArmor 3D screen protector for the iPhone that has basically equal anti-reflectivity to the Samsung’s Gorilla Armor, but doesn’t cut down on the vividness of the display. (I mean, we all should be using screen protectors anyway right?) I know this because I own a 15 Pro Max with said screen protector as well as an S24 Ultra. I say this not as an Apple fanboy, but just to give advice to fellow iPhone users. It really does improve the experience and outdoor brightness becomes indistinguishable between the S24 and 15, especially if you put them in dark mode.
Im using the samsung s24 ultra and its the best and the beast of all smartphones today!!!

Google's processor is 2 times worse in power than its competitors, but they are not much worse, it is impressive when they have their own processor (not a clone Exynos )they will be better, this is my personal opinion

They added it back. You have to go in navstar to turn it on and then go to navigation settings on your phone and disable the navigation gestures.
its not what he was saying he wants to keep the navigation gestures but there was an option to make the bottom bar invisible.
Something is totally wrong with your Pixel unit, in some cases it looked indeed choppy, and Multicore score was only ~3600 while it should be around ~4600. So no surprise it was performing strange.

Another thing that affects phones are some apps that run in background . If apps run on background it slows and cause the phone to struggle a bit

I made my S24 ultra faster, x opens immediately, for you it took a while, You must reduce/disable animations and set animation to 0.5 (or off) 3 times in the developer settings.
That’s a well known option to do, but that’s not how the phone comes out of the box, so that’s now how we test it here.

I got an Pixel 8 Pro and i can 100% confirm that scrolling sucks on it. So many times there are stutters or micro lags. I thought theyd fix it with updates but that not the case. Apps like WhatsApp, TH-cam (their App on their Phone), PlayStore, Twitter, Reddit (terrible) and so on are all stuttering while scrolling way too many times for a phone this tier. Also shutter speed in the camera sucks

I used the predecessor Ultra; it's a great phone, but the newest S24U is kinda disappointing in a number of angles. They don't improve much except changing the chipset & swap the telephoto lens (other things are minor changes). Samsung kinda want to push their "AI" capabilities, which is not that great.

It's looks a little bit choppy on the pixel coz some of the apps are set at 60hz , I guess you can change that in the developers option...

@@aasimk9546 I have a OnePlus Nord N30 & unfortunately, I don't have that. I did use a app called "MacroDroid" to force 120hz on any app or game. But, It had problems such as 120hz drops down to 60 or 30hz on YT. On the bright side, OnePlus launched the latest version of OnePlus' Android 14-based skin & in OxygenOS 14 (based on Android 14), there will be an option in the "Display & Brightness" section to force 120hz on any app without MacroDroid or any app that I can download from the Play Store (Or sideload an APK). And my OnePlus Nord N30 is eligible for OxygenOS 14 (stable version, not beta version). But unfortunately, OnePlus is taking so long to roll out the OxygenOS 14 stable update for my phone. And my phone is a T-Mobile version.
@@aasimk9546 OnePlus created OxygenOS because it provided a "fast & smooth" experience. OnePlus phones are fast because they either have mid-range or flagship-level hardware & OxygenOS is optimized for performance. Of course, you can make a OnePlus even faster with developer options (Which is what I did on my Nord N30) & Improved battery life, security, privacy & network performance with my phone's built-in settings app. It was easy to do so & my phone runs a little better. I used the other settings options besides Developer Options & do the rest I had to do besides making my phone run faster.

just to let you all know geek bench is way more optimized for ios.
These tests do not represent the real speed the phones are capable of. In such tests, you should open the apps with macros. You should set the displays to an equal brightness, charge everything to 100%, put them in performance mode with the same screen resolution, and same restrictions on running apps in the background, and do the test one after another while everything else is disconnected from the wifi. Also with disabled animations.

The iPhone compresses it's data and ram for apps. Android on the other hand, does not compress any data. That's why the iPhone is always faster than Android, as far as games are concerned. Of course there are other factors in a phones performance.
But iPhone wasn't always faster on the games
In android have a google play games that log in animation lost time ! The game stop loading. If the game not show google play games animation, provably s24 win easly as iphone ! But for me user of iphone 11, the samsung s23 and now the beast s24 wins easly !

Soy fan de iOS al ver que ellos sí son homogéneos con su interfaz y la barra de navegación sí cambia de color o es translúcida con cada app, así como los juegos donde no hacen esos recordes de la pantalla horrendos que en Android 14 no arreglan. Después de eso el que más prefiero es a Pixel con esa UI que está casi como iOS porque todo está bien hecho y la interfaz de las apps son uniformes ya que usan el lenguaje de diseño de Android 14 Stock Material You. Soy muy quisquillozo en ese sentido.
En eso Samsung con One UI lo arruina pero en performance, velocidad y funciones es impresionante.
Correction, iPhone didn’t reload eBay. What it was doing was realizing you hadn’t been in the app for a minute, and searching for new results. Same for the App Store, I can open App Store, lock the phone, unlock it and go back in, and it “reloads” without me doing anything else to it. That’s not because of RAM management, it’s because it’s refreshing the content rather than forcing you to manually reload.
Translation: The RAM management test should have been a tie between them imo
I personally liked the animation on Pixel.

Not entirely true, Google's Tensor G3 chip is 2 times inferior to the A17 Pro and 8 Gen 3 chips, this also affects smooth animations and smooth page scrolling

The iPhone still works better for what I use in life. The s23 was an absolute nightmare to use with constant issues with service, android carplay, and buggy. When it worked though it was awesome. At this point though, I like the ecosystem of apple better so probably won’t switch again

Can someone please explain why iPhone displays make Whites actually pop and look white. While Pixels and Samsung makes it look grey. They look so dull
It saves battery using off-white. One of many tricks Android use to conserve battery. Another is by closing most apps out overnight (iPhone doesn't) or delaying notifications.
