So pleased that Luna Lapin went down a treat, lovely🥰and the sweaters are fab! Pastel colours in the T-shirt finish and winter white with texture for our chilly weather… just lovely. Thanks too for the extra info on size and stripe width, you just know there will be one in my wardrobe at some stage!!! 🤣xx
Luna Lapin was my saviour back when the world got shut down. She, and her friends have become a bit of an addiction since then! I have the moon hare waiting to be started once I have the time! I love to see a vlog/ podcast that has a bit of everything because I knit and sew too. I hope you enjoy your yarn dying experience. I look forward to hearing about that next time.
Hi Andie, love your new knits….love them both! Looking forward to hearing about the retreat. Safe travels. Sending best wishes from Down Under 🥰🌺🌼🌸🌻💐🇦🇺😎
Gorgeous jumpers! Love the pet spider :D We have a whole host of them here too. Have a brilliant weekend away at the retreat and YES PLEASE, show us photos next week! Jumpers, rabbits, runners and stockings, my you have been super productive. I’m in awe. I’ve been inspired by your previous vlog when you revealed you were making your own stockings this year. I looked up some patterns online and found some fabric I loved, then went to a store and bought a couple. Oh well! Maybe next year lol. Xx
Andie, you are very clever. The stockings are so cute. Your Tolstas are very pretty. I've been thinking of buying the pattern. I'm currently knitting the No Frills sweater. Suzanne
Love your work Andie ❤ I've been making a Luna Lapin for my granddaughter and have been handstitching most of the felt so that the stitching shows on the outside. Im thoroughly enjoying the slowness of it. I will machine sew the clothing though. Has anyone made the cute little lounge chair - I'm going to give that a go next ! Enjoy your lovely workshop 😊
Have a super time. You will be in my home town, the Ironbridge Gorge is a beautiful part of the county. Hope you get time to explore the surrounding area. I'm off to Norfolk to the Thursford show! I don't knit but learning to crochet. Your sweaters are gorgeous 😍
Oh my goodness! Your knits are absolutely STUNNING! In fact, all of your knits are just beautiful. I so wish I could knit like that. You totally inspire me to knit more complicated patterns. Love your other makes too. Did you enlarge the Luna Lapin template? I hand sewn mine because I didn’t think i would be able to get a small enough seam allowance with my machine. I love how it turned out - just time consuming. Thank you for sharing x
Thank you Liz. No I didn’t enlarge it I copied it straight from the book. I use a 1/4 inch seam and go slowly especially around the tricky parts like the thumb. 🥰
Your Luna Lapin is beautiful, I love everything you make. Just out of interest I was in The Works the other day and they had a Luna Lapin book : Making New Friends for only £6.99., a bargain. Where do you purchase your project bags Andie? ❤😊

I have my best luck handsewing felt if I sew a guide stitch on the machine in fairly short stitches. I always end up with some thread showing somewhere! Does anyone have a "best" way?

Thank you so much 😊
If only we could match our stripes in sewing garments like knitting. Wouldn’t that be wonderful.
It would indeed Andrea, and much easier to fix if you make a mistake! X
What a nice selection of makes Andie. Love the white jumper but I can only wear man made yarns or cotton. Enjoy the retreat, sounds great. 😊😊
Thank you so much 😊

Thank you lovely. You can still make the stockings, there’s plenty of time. You can even add some of your fab artwork to them 😉. Xx
Jumpers are stunning ❤xx
Thank you so much 🥰
Great video, loving the info on the jumpers, this is inspiring me to move away from scarves and try a jumper!😊
Thank you so much Margaret. The Tolsta pattern is great if you fancy having a go at sweater making. 🥰
