I was highly debating between Space Grey and Gold..finally decided to go with Space Grey for the sole reason that I'm just used to black bezels, and they're easier to ignore. And also, the earpiece, the camera, they blend in with the black, giving it a more solid, clean look, I feel.
Not interested in either of these phones but I'm here because MKBHD always has that 🔥

For all who are wondering why the iPhone didnt get a 10‘000 multi-score: he used the old version of geek bench which doesnt detect the 2 new Codes in the iPhone 8. Im actually surprised to see a fault like this from MKBHD, but thats no hate Im just surprised :)
Another mistake he made: the iPhone 8 is actually dimensionally larger than the iPhone 7, even it's just by a hair.
It doesn't have anything to do with that. Geekbench doesn't "read" your cpu like that. It just performs actual tasks on the cpu and outputs a score. With your logic any app that hasn't been updated will not use the full advantage of the new cpu.

well, on the newer version of Geekbench 4 the iPhone 8 Plus score a single-core of about 4120 and a multi-score of about 9900; whereas the Note 8 has a single-score of about 3100 and a multi-score of about 6600 which is a huge difference
again Apple just grilled the smartphone market with their performance...they even grilled their new MacBook

what is the sensor size of the camera, apple states it collects 80% more light, but the lens has the exact same aperture value as iphone 8, so the only explanation should be a larger sensor.

If anyone is confused about the benchmark scores, don't worry. MKBHD tweeted the results of one more try and it scored above 4000+ single and 9500+ in multi. Apparently the iPhone, just after setting up does a lot of indexing which caused this anomaly. :)
