I got this phone and it’s absolutely fantastic. I love the glass back. It feels so good in the hand. Better grip too. I upgraded from the 6 Plus. Very happy. iPhone X and its display is very appealing, along with its smaller size. But the fact that the monster of a chip is the same, I’m happy with my choice. This phone is ridiculously fast.
Yes you are absolutely right. To go that in price the X just didn’t turn on maybe the X2 plus in a year or two.

I've had just about every iPhone since iPhone 4S. The 4S may be my favorite based on aesthetics, iPhone 8 Plus may be the best overall. Ridiculous battery. People took those free airbuds for granted. I've got a nice stockpile. They come in handy very rarely lol

I’m with T-Mobile and I’m buying an iPhone 8 Plus. I have a 6s Plus right now. So do I go to apple and buy a new 8 Plus and put my SIM card that was in my old phone which is the 6s plus and put it into the 8 Plus and will everything work fine. Like will all the data transfer, pictures and messages? Also when I put my SIM card in the new iPhone 8 Plus will the phone bill be the same?

In 2o19, is it still a solid move , purchasing an iPhone 8 Plus? I watched the features and benchmark , performance etc., and it kept up solidly with an iPhone 11. I just upgraded from an iPhone 6s to an iPhone 8 Plus and am very satisfied. The space gray is a perfect color and it fits snug in an OtterBox Commuter case.
I currently have a 6S right now, I can’t decide between the 8 or the 8 Plus.
Black Kakarot keep in mind that if you upgrade to the 8, you’re pretty much getting the exact same size as your 6s but with a different backing. The 8 Plus is a way bigger size where you need two hands to use it.

Currently waiting on my 8 plus space grey being shipped! I will probably go with the black silicone case as well, looks great and they are very functional. I used the Apple silicone and leather case for my 6S plus dropping my phone several times with no issues.

Air Photography apparently it's not as rare as you might think. I don't know whether it's a very small hair or a bit of dust that looks like hair (forgot the term lint maybe?). I'm guessing yours didn't have any problems like mine? Hopefully it's not a widespread problem. It doesn't seem to be. You can only see in certain lightning condition like outside or under the flash of my 6s plus but if I'm spending this much on a phone I expect it to not have any hairs/dust under the screen 😫😩
Did the hair stop any functions of the phone, is it easily noticeable or what other defects are there? I'm worried because I'm getting mine in a span of 2-3 days and am worried about small faults in the phone or any imperfections. Also when I receive it should I test if the water resistance is faulty. Please help if you can!

I love the think cases too but more of the thin case wont protect your phone if for someone you drop your phone, I always by the heavy duty case that has 2-3 layers. I am getting a Iphone 8 plus 256G in gold in December.

Right now I have a 6s Plus with a slightly cracked screen (I can’t feel it, it’s behind the glass) but it’s still kind of annoying and I’m ready for a new phone. But I’m not sure if I should get the 8 Plus or wait for the X and deal with this until November. What do you think?
Get the 8 plus because iPhone X will be too expensive for his features. (Maybe take the iPhone 7 plus because there are little differences between 7 plus and 8 plus and you will spend the rest of you money on something else)
If you want an upgrade I'd say wait for the X if you have the money for it...just have to weigh up the pros and the cons in terms of pricing and features of the 8 and the X

+John S Asmah Awesome… V8 is super fast compared to the 6s which is what I upgraded from. I can edit 4K video with no problems whatsoever which is amazing for a smart phone. My laptop with 32 GB of RAM sometimes have a harder time editing 4K
