Sewing my first dress!

Hi everyone! I'm back and this week I've got a sewing project! I saw a beautiful spring dress from Free People and was inspired to try and make my own version. This was such a fun project and I can't wait to start sewing more clothing in the future.
This is the Etsy shop I purchased the original pattern from, however, after I completed this project, it seems they have stopped selling their patterns on Etsy. This could be a temporary situation, but I am not in the know, so for now I will just give credit where it is due and hope they release more patterns in the future!

It looks great! Tbh I never sew around the edge of a fabric before washing and it always turns out okay 😊

Yeah honestly it didn’t really fray too bad. I assume it really depends on the type of fabric you’re using but this was my first real clothing project and I didn’t want to mess it up 😂💕

I know I can’t believe it’s not available any more! It only took me a few days to make so I was really surprised by the time I was trying to link it that she had closed her shop :( hopefully she will continue selling her designs somewhere soon!
