Personally mine came out to about 3.75 inches, but you could always do more rounds on the outside to make your square bigger!

I know sometimes crochet videos can be unnecessarily complicated, so I wanted to make sure I was making it as simple as possible so that anyone could understand it :) this was like one of my first videos too I was nervous 😅

That’s a really good idea, I don’t know why I didn’t think to do that! Because I totally agree sometimes I can’t tell which is which either, and it would’ve been so helpful and more clear to just use a stitch marker lol

So to do the puff stitch she does have a small section detailing how to do it above the main pattern. But if that’s not helpful to you I can try my best to explain it! Basically when it says make a puff stitch in the next stitch, you would usually go in the top of the stitch at the V shape, but for this stitch you will go underneath it around the actual post. To make the puff stitch you’ll first yarn over once then go around the post and pull one loop up and repeat that as many times as the pattern calls for. So yes, yarn over each time before you go around the post and if I remember correctly you should end up with 7 loops on your hook. I sure hope some of this helped but I know it can be complicated to visualize, there might even be a video detailing the puff stitch somewhere! I hope you figure out the pattern and your top turns out great!

Yeah honestly it didn’t really fray too bad. I assume it really depends on the type of fabric you’re using but this was my first real clothing project and I didn’t want to mess it up 😂💕

I know I can’t believe it’s not available any more! It only took me a few days to make so I was really surprised by the time I was trying to link it that she had closed her shop :( hopefully she will continue selling her designs somewhere soon!

Personally I just had to undo my work and make sure my starting number of double crochets were correct. But also whenever you’re working on a cluster make sure to look behind to be sure you’re not accidentally skipping over a stitch and throwing off your pattern, I did that a few times 😅
