- Katie and I launched the Mako Pro Skiff 15 from a new boat ramp and headed to downtown Jacksonville Florida for some urban fishing during the mullet run. The tarpon were waiting and busting on mullet.

nice catches, I have been wanting to get down there, but most to ride and see the city from the water. See that tarpon was really cool.
Yes that was pretty cool; we were in the right spot when the schools of mullet came through.
Tarpon just hang out and wait there for the bait.
I definitely want to do more exploring down there.
That is some awesome footage I love seeing those Tarpon go off! As far as the Croaker run this year it seems to be pretty good I doc fish Doctors Inlet and I'm catching them as big as ever this year. Please keep the great videos coming!

One of the residents came out and said around the corner the day before there were 100’s of tarpon exploding on the bait. So awesome to be out there when it’s happening.

Awesome I just bought a Polar 17 saltwater skiff yesterday. Can wait to get out and try to get some shrimp this weekend. Might have to try to get together and wet a line one day and do a collab if you want.

I think there is a kayak launch near by; I’ve never drove downtown to launch.
On Google maps it’s by the north bank river walk parking lot next to Sidney J. Gefen park.

I knew you’d like that, I live on the Westside so I launched from the “Wayne B. Stevens Boat ramp
“ off Ortega River and it’s a pretty close ride to downtown.
I’ve also launched from the “Lions club boat ramp” and that’s a pretty close ride to downtown too 👍 that ramp is probably closer to you.

Yes, I got a letter in the mail about a month ago from some unknown company. I didn't pay it any attention I thought it must have been a scam because it didn't come from Mako.
I had been hearing a lot of people having trouble with their trailers so I call Waylen and they told me they had a nationwide recall. So I made an appointment to bring mine in tomorrow. He said it should take two hours. So I'll just hang around St Augustine until it fix.
Could I ask where is the location in Jacksonville, I would like to go fishing there fr fr.

Yes about 2 weeks ago; I see people casting in around the boardwalk downtown and some guys were fishing at those apartments when the tarpon came through.
