Thank you for this wonderful presentation of these two incredible pens. Sadly, I will probably never get to hold, much less own, one of these beauties but I am happy for you.
Both beautiful pens. I usually prefer stub nibs and oblique medium/broad nibs. The Sailor looks like it offers the most in terms of line variation. The ink capacity of the Namiki would probably make refilling an annual procedure ie your birthday 🎂.
Ive always wanted one, do you think if i got a custom grind of that nib into a steel nib would be worth it? Or shouldni save up for a 14k gold nib or 18,21k gold nib?

Don't be afraid to Imagine that you will own both and even more. It's easier than you think. Believe it will be yours and eventually it will be.

I own a Naginata Togi, it has become my workhorse on any type of paper and an absolute joy to write with.

Beautiful pens, can you please inform what ink did you dip them into?
Sorry to answer so late. I did not know I could!!😅 I have used a Leonardo blue ink!
Nothing compares to the Namiki Emperor’s #50 nib IMO
What ink is he using?
anyone?
@@mistermire I actually found out, it’s leonardo rosso
Leonardo blue ink!! I am ashamed I had not replied earlier!
@@stilographcorsani4600 Thank you very much!
It’s like comparing a Rolls Royce with a Audi Audi A8 I think it is great to compare it to MB Meisterstück 149
The Namiki no 50 has a lawyer coated plastic feed. It is not ebonite.
It is actually ebonite covered with Urushi
Just like jinhao 9019.
not a huge broad
