KOP only comes in M/broad ?
Blue urushi looks nice, never seen one

Yes for most models but there are exceptions where some ebonite or special model KOPs have the option for naginata nibs which are ridiculously expensive

    Excellent reviews. Always enjoy them.
You always seem to buy the new pens at a better price than I can find anywhere. I was curious if you would share with me where to buy some of these pens brand new?
I can provide my email for private correspondence if you prefer.

It’s always about looking for deals, I don’t get them from one place. All of them are sought after on the market from all retailers or second hand until there is a discount or what not. Its a matter of timing and luck involved in getting the best deals.

I think the urushi finish on the KOP is probably more authentic where as the yukari I have been told is sprayed on.

First time I’ve heard about this, in terms of feel and looks they seem like it’s applied with the same technique

@@OwlxArt I’ve not personally looked under a microscope, but friends that do urushi have studied the pen and see no brush marks. This was at the same magnification as a comparison to a nakaya in which it was clearly visible.

@@PenFriends how about the Sailor KOP urushi? Has anyone checked for brush marks on those yet?

@@OwlxArt that’s a good question, I’m not aware of other techniques being used. But to spray the pens does make sense, especially with the volume they pump out.

The video, sound and information is really good, thank you. In the other hand, I suggest to speak more clear, the only reason why I don’t see your videos.

@@OwlxArt I am in the middle of trying to figure out which to buy but I'm leaning more to the Custom Urushi in Vermillion. It looks like an amazing pen

@@controversyV4S it also depends on what you like in your writing experience. If you like softer nibs with minimal feedback go with custom urushi but if you like harder nibs with feedback then go with the KOP

@@OwlxArt I do a lot of abstract drawings I have just been using a few custom 823's I think I'm ready for the custom urushi pretty sure I would like the softer nib

It is really hard to understand you. You mumble every word. Maybe practice speaking more clearly..
