The first time i ever watched a bike race was years back when Wayne Gardner was racing but I was totally hooked when Mick Doohan on that insane Honda NSR500 bike of his that everyone thought was too nuts to ride was smashing the records. Even with busted hands and feet and even in the rain his comebacks were spectacular. Here in Oz they make a bog deal out of Gardner and fair enough but Doohan was an absolute lunatic legend and hooked me on to motorcycle racing forever.

WorldSBK is learning from Moto America. Now put the full race(s) on YT a week after live broadcast like them and you're there. I've almost given up on SBK after enjoying it for so many years because live coverage is so effin inconsistent.

Not really. I thought so at first however - I agree that Rhea was early on the gas but that could have been unloaded rear tire plus paint. Raz just over broke before the bike was straight, got the rear up too high and the entire frame swung left around the neck forcing him to get off the brakes and drop it way cockeyed.

Have you seen his post-race interview? It's already on the website. Not once did he really offer an apology. He was just saying things like " yeah, I'm sorry he went down... ", " It's unfortunate that Alvaro was on the receiving end of some hard racing " and " Yeah, there was some contact, but I made my corner *. What is he even on? It's funny because it was last year's race at Magny-Cours that my estimation of Jonathan Rea started to go down, but today's race and his post-race reaction are very off-putting. It's very clear that he is frustrated and cannot see himself taking the title under normal circumstances. It's also clear that after years of domination Jonathan Rea cannot handle begin outperformed by others and is starting to show his true colours. For many rounds now he's been trying to hide his frustration being on a very long winless streak, but today something broke in him. Just look at the way he elbowed Alvaro while picking up the bike even. That is not a normal reaction when overshooting a corner if you're on the inside. A very bad look for Jonathan Rea. And the long lap penalty is a joke, the guy came in fifth in the end.

Well lets start with the obvious incident, second wreckless take out this year.
"well if youre a Bautista fan, you might think that pass was a bit firm"
"well at least that tightens things up at the top of the title"
"fantastic rea managed to get back up to such a great points position, closing the gap to bautista"
Now lets look at the way they call things depending on the rider.
"toparak doesnt have the pace to go with rea"
"rea doesnt have the bike underneath him to go with toparak"
So, one of them doesn't have the pace, the other one has the pace, but the bike is the issue? be more biased.
The irish guy will say "reas tires are gone" when he gets passed, then a lap later rea will make a pass and the dude will say "looks like reas tires are coming back".. really?
Honestly mate, the Irish dude in the booth is an ABSOLUTE punish, his fandom of rea is intolerable. It's like listening to home team commentary turned up to 10. Incredibly unprofessional.
