Oh yeah! You know what I like lou! SUPER RARE 1 OF 2, CHROME VALVE COVERS STG1!!! It really doesn't get any better than this!!!!! Gorgeous!!!! Thank you!
This Buick really is the best of both worlds. Plenty of power while you cruise in comfort.. I think Adam is going to get even busier after this video. Thanks, Lou!
When I was 23 in 1968, I purchased my first new car. It was a 1968 Buick GS400 Convertable. Red/White top and interior. Chrome wheels. I was 23 and in 7th Heaven !
Lou, Must be fun as hell meeting nice guys like Mike. I didn’t even know they made a GSX in 72 with the new emission standards. Buick must have snuck those two out the door. What a car! Thx Lou.

My oldest brother had a 72 GS ( 350 ) with bench seat and 4 speed, it was painted a real nice dark metallic brown with a buckskin type color interior. Man, I loved that car! I would volunteer to wash and detail it for him just so I could be near it. Even though it only had the 350 it ran great. It would bark the tires in 3rd gear. It was all original and had the factory pieces on it. I always really like the induction system on the GS's. I so wanted that car but he sold it to his brother in law. It still pisses me of to this day when I think about him selling it to someone else. That was back in mid 80s too. Thats only red GSX I have ever seen and i have looked a lot of GS and GSXs over the years. I have a soft spot for them
Kudos to Adam for the restoration on Mike's beauty. As a youngster, I was convinced at the performance of the Stage 1s after one beat the HEMI GTX back in the '87 match race. Thanks Lou!
wow, what a beauty restoration on this 1972 Buick .. amazing -- these guys do a wonderful job bringing back a 50 year old car, Buick to its original showroom class ... a big credit to them restoration guys !! I love this car ... immaculate -- WOW .. thanks Lou ..
I love this car, and it looked gorgeous at MCACN.😍😍 Adam and Mike are great guys, and they are both a wealth of Buick knowledge. Adam is awesome when it comes to restoration and is always helpful. This is a great interview of two great guys. Congratulations Mike !!
Baddest Buick ever made! They were very fast and had some luxury. A hell of a lot more car than the later regal based 6 pop turbos. Right color, right amount of pedals, I am a Pontiac guy, but I would take that one home!
¡Excelente video Lou, y saludos!
@@loucostabile back in the late 1980’s I was delivering auto parts and a guy at the warehouse had one of these in yellow with the black stripes, convertible, hood tach and all. That’s when I fell in love with the GSX. Some of the most impressive cars to me have been Buicks for some reason. My dad had an early 70’s Electra, a neighbor had a ‘65 Wildcat convertible and my uncle had a brand new T-Type Regal in 1984. Now, if I could afford it, a ‘70 GSX, ‘71 Riv boat tail or a ‘65 Riv would be in my garage.

Another beautiful car Lou. Always liked the looks of the 1970 to 1972 GSX I have only seen a few of them over the years. My Uncle used to race alot in the 1960s and 1970s and he said that those 455 cars were hard to keep up with. (He drove a 69 Dodge Charger R/T 440 4 speed.

I noticed that every single Buick GS, or GSX video is ALWAYS in an indoor venue! I've yet to see you go for a ride in one! Especially with one equipped with a 4-speed! Beautiful car though!
My co worker just showed me a pic of his 78 year old neighbors' car. From a distance it's this exact colour with the GSX stickers and stripe but has a white vinyl roof. The neighbor keeps to himself but it's his wife's car and she passed a few years ago.
The exterior striping and paint work is lovely to behold. The motor and engine bay is very nice. Perhaps it's the genuine look but I'm not a fan of an all-black interior.

You're thinking of the 1970 GSX which were Saturn Yellow or Apollo White.
