not really, pulse bomb, dva bomb, earthshatter, flux, captive sun are all suzuable and all a tier
People ask me why I main supports and Kiriko specifically....I always say because it's the most impactful role and Kiri the most impactful hero in the game and I just don't want some random dude get the hands on her and end up doing nothing 😅 It's just pragmatism

I literally have stopped using her ult to do damage anymore an now just use it as an emergency stop-gap to stay in air somewhere for long enough to get my refuel cooldown back. Or I'll use it randomly near the enemy while in cover jus to distract them, maybe get someone to turn around. lol
I only use her ult when the enemy tank is isolated and I'm in a safe spot lol
An often unmentioned feature of Sombra's emp is it applying the DPS passive debuff to everyone it hits. SO not only are they locked out for 3 seconds, you got -20% less healing on everyone now too.
INTERESTING, as a Sombra player, I will absolutely keep this in mind next time I play :)

It’s pretty tough for an ult to cancel out two ults at the same time. You would have been killed through beat as well

Same can be said for any mechanics based ult but primal in the right hands is extremely strong.
It resets health to 1000hp and resets cooldowns as well giving you a free life.
Can also be used as a zoning tool to keep opponents from walking out of their spawn doors in OT.
Not to mention the winstons who know how to juggle can wipe squishys very quickly.
Yeah but recently that 1000 hp is nothing and since you primal'd you are suddenly everyones target. I haven't seen a single winston live through primal since the start of season 9 unless they purely use it as an escape tool or get nano'd. Which if you NEED another ult to get value out of it, than it isnt very good

IMO Hanzo ult is best used from spawn. By the time it gets to the fight they'll have forgetten about it an then BAM, outta no where like a car in Oasis.
Rein needed to be B tier for BIG SLAM
With the projectile size buffs and the tire not getting the HP buff like everyone, it makes so it gets destroyed by anyone that looks at it.

Brig's should be C or D tier for sure. The nerf + the glitches on her shield + no cooldown reset + no self heal during it is painful. It's a glorified Rein shield that the server will fail to notice exists 50% of the time.
Absolutely. It's basically a giant KILL ME button unless you get god tier ping and a lot of luck.
I use it to confirm kills on people out of position or are low without proper support. Or to prevent an enemy ult from going off. Or to buff my shield to take a burst of damage I can't mitigate, like Reaper ult or Soldier ult.
It's still pretty meh though.
I completely agree with you support ult ranking. Mercy's in particular is bad in terms of healing (the chain damage boost is alright). For reference, Mercy's healing gains AOE and goes from 55 to 60hps. But that's awful when you realize that Coalescence does 140hps, Bap's Window doubles healing through it (and his base healing is already 50 on the AOE and 70 on the direct), Zen's ult does 300hps, etc, etc. No one's ult has as little defensive/sustain power as Mercy's ult. Even nanoboost on use gives a massive healing burst and then applies 50% damage boost and 50% damage reduction. I say this as a Masters 3 Brig main but I play Mercy on occasion an her ult saves no one, so it's really only usable for chain damage boost, but even then, Kiriko and Bap's ults are just better offensively as well as defensively.

Ik this don't have to do with the ult list but tbh watching this reminded me that tanks on top of what their doing have to keep the other tank in check right, and doom can capitalize on this because say your playing hog and doom is on your back like, you now have to make the desicion of do I take doom out and ignore all 4 other enemies shooting me, or do I try to tank the damage long enough to get a pick as a trade. It's hero specific but a lot of dive tanks (aside winton unless your goated I'm not) on chart to being good just because orisa got hard nerfed. It's a bit difficult to tell but imo if your comfortable on the dive characters your gonna feast

As a Life Weaver main I'm okay with tree being in B tier because it's not too hard to take down with some focus, or even kill someone trough with the same focus. Good Lifes will have tree every 1.5 fights. Also PSA for all the nonLife mains we are slipery but have super long cool downs please check on your life to know he's okay.

Dragon just needs to be faster so people can’t simply step to a size as easy as they can now

I struggle so much to get value from sombras ult, but i think it depends a lot on the team to follow up on it. If team is working a lot together then yeah, the enemy team is pulverised. And I'm not blaming teammates nor anything. Just simetimes people are not all that aware of what everyone else is doing. I think sombra's ult is all about communication. Letting the team know when you sre doing it
Yeah sombra ult relies on your team following up on it. If you emp on your own, it could hit the entire team and still do nothing
I think Sojourn could also be S tier. The issue is that you need some mechanical skill, which is why its probably the best in A tier, but you can tear through a team.
The fact that he put high noon in the same tier as bob,grav, tree, rally is ridiculous. High noon is so far beneath them and deserves to be f tier.
It doesn’t matter if you get damage reduction because you still get bursted down or cc’d. Being a extra way to reload by canceling it is not rewarding and besides, it doesn’t even reload when you fire the shots during high noon.
this is across all ranks and you would be suprised how low plat and below players dont know how to handle high noon very well besides just shooting him plus the zoning and of course survivability
The way I see high noon is a guaranteed solo kill. I rarely fail a high noon after I stopped trying to kill everyone
@@roland8357 it isn’t. Even if I try to stick a magnetic grenade right before I ult one person, it’s not guaranteed. Maybe in low ranks but even then if it’s one kill, then it further proves how it bad it is.
Bob and grav would normally force out a zen ult or Lucio beat giving some value, high noon doesn’t force any ults. That’s why these ults being in the same tier make no sense
@ziggy2metalx720 I mean Bob has a ton of counters too other than LOS. High noon has many solo pick opportunities if you use it to punish people using their movement ability
As bastion I've killed a few people with turret though zen ult quite a few times
Lw A tier ult. With sigma being popular Lw ult literally cancels sig ult if u place on top of it immediately

I would have put Illari ult in C. I think it’s so easy to avoid/counter and while she’s up there flying around, no one receives healing and the Illari player is out of position
yeah but it’s like a good pulse bomb. once they reach a threshold the “sun struck” explodes
It’s easy to combo with too. If the player is smart, she can bait out your cool down and then you’re just stuck. This ultimate is pretty good but not broken.
@@GabeThaGoober yeah that’s a good point. I play mostly moira or kiri so her ult literally doesn’t affect me lol. But when Illari is my teammate im just like praying they mark some targets with it and come back alive

Id put the illari ult in b tier though. Depending on the enemy team comp it can literally be useless
Hog and Mauga's ults are A tier. Hog ult can c9 and always kills the tank and 1-2 squishies if he lands hook. Maybe they should boost ult charge rate for tanks to compensate
torb’s molten core into mauga’s cage is S tier
So I think moira should be higher if pulse is for the same reason taht it builds fast but is still useful

What is this insanity genji ult is F teir it's only successful if you get out all their abilities and don't die. Best to pop blade and see how they react and then dash back behind your team.

i think Reaper should be higher based on what was discussed with the torb ult. If u have a reaper ult it can def be a game changer compared to his. ive had a lot of games where reaper ults changed the tide of the game and caused a victory
Same with Pharah ult. They are both way too high of a kill rate to be in the same class with Torb and Sym

I'm a biased Reaper main but in my opinion his ult should be no less than B, arguably A. I know this kind of goes for all ults but, for me, when timed perfectly there is no ult more effective at completely changing the tide of a game. Even if you end up only getting two or three opponents. Im not too upset about it being ranked C because its probably the most predictable ult in the game. Literally everyone calls it out every single time, but the fact it causes so much fear that people have to constantly remind their teams about it says something.

ive been high diamond/mid masters (gm 3 twice) forever now and this season so far, SHATTER is good. REIN is ok ig but SHATTER specifically has been so gamechanging
rein has not been horrible but im noticing he only works (doesnt mattter about the counterswap) if you have bap OR kiriko(PUT THESE TWO IN BOLD ALL CAPS WHATEVER), the other supp can be (and should be) moira lucio illari or ana
AND HERE I AM watching the full vid.... BAP KIRIKO = TORB ULT MEANS N O T H I N G (in higher gameplay). Torb (unfortunately my bae reaper) and Cass have the most useless ults in the game.

Illari ult is a B tier ult at best for me. Her ult feels significantly easier to counter than a lot ultimates and the damage isnt really that high.
Tree is currently a better zen ult
Shooting yourself into the stratosphere as Hammond and popping mindfield with a piledriver killing their entire team after they foolishly attacked the point will never not make my day. But as you get higher ranked the ult because more about zoning. It shouldve been B tier but whatever he doesn't play ball too much and doesn't know.
EMP is such a garbage ult in the metal ranks in which I reside because it requires other people to follow up 😂
Tracer pulse bomb way too high. Even in WC the best of the best players miss it and at best it’s getting 1-2 kills. Should be in C tier and I would move Pharah and Reaper to B because even tho they can be canceled or killed in the middle of it they still have a much higher rate to get multi kills even in high ranks

Wrecking Ball ult is actually fantastic if you get the dive from a high grapple ult than pile drive killing their entire fucking team. Should've been B tier but whatever
Sombras ult is nothing, I’m gold-platinum and every sombra tries to solo the whole team but must forget we can still shoot because they go bye bye very fast

As a Zen player, I felt a bit insulted by his comments on Zen's ult. Emongg's rating was WAY too generous for an ult that garbage.
It’s not even that bad and if you use it correctly you just block the damage with your own hurtbox because zen is invul. I would still give it a B

You can ball ult from really high up and generate a MASSIVE minefield that is really aggravating to play against. Any teammate taking a duel within the minefield will win. It is a super underrated ult and it’s getting buffed soon.

Doom and balls ults are F tier. 1 slam of doom destroys mines and doom does no dmg with his best ability shining moment ult
Sym ult in C? Do we play the same game? Wall is literally a fight win every single time. You can't fight into wall. You can't destroy wall in time without using ultimates. Wall zones the whole map and is unkillable. If you start the fight with wall and enemies decide to engage they're just throwing. In pro play the moment wall appears everyone runs back because it's uncounterable and you just have to give up point/position.
Also bro shatter isn't A tier, no way. It's solid C tier. When it hits it hits, but it's too inconsistent with the amount of denial abilities and ultimates in the game.
Also you put dva bomb in A and mauga in B? What?! Dva bomb - C-, cage - A++.

Feast or famine. Easy to play around, easy to predict, a third of the cast can cancel it or kill you immediately for using it. Most heroes have mobility to leave your range. Actual great ult but you’re relying on catching the enemy off guard and on cooldown

It’s easy to counter as you rank up. He’s easy to predict so most ppl will be ready for it
Dva and Ram top 2 tank ults ? Ram ult is just another armor burst, it basically does nothing in terms of damage. One of the worst ult. Dva's ult is mostly second life. Doom ult is also a second life but a bit better than Dva's because it hurts now after the buffs and he get cooldown reset and empowered punch.
Flux, shatter, rampage, whole hog these are very good ults. Monke ult is great if you lab his mechanics. Zarya ult isn't as good as it used to be but ok i guess. Ball ult decent. Mauga ult is good. I'd put dva and ram bottom 2. Best ones Flux, Shatter, Rampage. Other ults more contextual but these 3 pretty much ''i win'' button.

The nerf to his poke means his ult takes crazy long to get. As in most other people will have their ult/used it by time you are 50-80% meaning you can't counter ult. I would know because I one trick him btw.

Ranking doom ultimate above minefield is insanity. Doom ultimate is HORRIBLE after the hp buff. Dmg dmg “buff” it got is a net nerf when including the fact everyone gained 50 hp. Hell it cant even kill a torbjorn. Its movement in air is slow, it’s predictable AND extremely react-able. And doom is USELESS when landing on/ near an ana, cas, kiri and any other of his counters. Tou either get insta hindered, slept, suzus so you dont get any overhealth from dmg. Its a horrible ultimate design for a tank. ESPECIALLY in 5 v 5. If you use the afk heal “buff” your team doesn’t have a tank for 5 sec. Its complete trash, and ranking it anywhere else but F tier shows you dont play doom.
If you knew the first thing about high level doom gameplay you would know that the best application for his ult is landing on rooftops, then charging punch on someone on your way down. Also dive literally doesn't work unless the team is self sufficient, I think they'll be able to survive for 5 seconds without their tank since that's how they're playing most of the time anyway. Silver take lol
Usually it's used to finish someone because you can use all your cooldowns for free and use that to all in and get another powered punch or run away, it's a ult that charges really quick and can secure picks
@@runaway74 im currently top 500 with doom and has been since S6. And correct. Thats a HORRIBLE design, ESPECIALLY FOR A MAIN TANK ULTIMATE. What is the point of landing in backline with the joke off a dmg output, lack off sustain you get from ulting. The fact dva has immortality frames on de-meck “when she dies and gets babyd. But doom dosnt have that on ultimate landing resulting in instantly getting hindered, suzud, slept and so on, because you just afk-ed for 5 seconds in the skybox lurking over backline just to get 300 hp from the heal “buff” and by then everyone off the enemies already know you’re coming, AND HAVE -5 SEC ON ALL Cool-downs BECAUSE EYOU JUST Utelized THE AFK HEAL “ Buff”. It completely contradicts what doom ultimate was, and force a more passive playstyle THAT DOES NOT WORK. especially when against bap-kiri or some other of the over-tuned supports with way too much self sustain and immortality abilities. Doom ultimate does not, and have never worked as an ultimate, especially for 5 V 5.

Doom ults controls feel complete shit mid ult, when you press Q there is w second you cant control where you want to go, you dont get the afk heal “buff” from that second, and you dont get faster cd-s that seconds. The fact every single character gained on average 50 hp (excluding tracer widow) doom ult cant even fucking kill a torbjorn when you actually hit someone with it. IT DOES MAX 300 dmg. And it scales 300-75-50 from max to min. The dmg “buff” didn’t even touch the 300-75 dmg. ONLY THE OUTER SIRCLE THAT DELT 15 DMG. to not see how shit dooms ultimate is is just pure negligence and shows youve never played him, dont know how to and just reference top 500 clips from Zbra where he lands skybox and charge punch. THE WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OFF THE DOING DMG IF YOURE SUPOSED TO LAND SKYBOX WITH IT. talking to @runaway74. Its a horrible designed ultimate, especially for a singe tank, like in 5 v 5, it has not gotten any quality of life buffs, changes, reworks that is a just a buff, all the “buffs it gor came with a huge downside, the heal came with 20% more ult cost. The dmg buff came AFTER everyone gaiver 25-100 hp, and it only buffed the minimum smg from 15-50 (why the hell did an ultimate even have the chautp only do 15 from launch) dooms ultimate is the “ultimate” show off neglect, lack off import to this new 5 v 5 format, and just feom the fact when ult fight starts, noone bats an eye to doom pressing Q leaving fight for 5 sec to freshen up “not even full heal” leav your team vulnerable without a tank. Doom ult needs a rework.

It's not though, it's not even close to emp or kitsune level, you press them you basically win the fight. Echo you basically get full dived the moment you use it or they just los you. The health cap and ult generation hit it hard. It def can still be game changing, but it’s inconsistent and can be useless based on their comp.
Honestly it’s overrated ever since the hp cap. The extra life is amazing but it doesn’t give you any extra power as is and typically the best use is just copying ana for nade and sleep from the sky box
Echo is getting a buff this season so hopefully it’s her ult that gets buffed
