As an owner of a 2015 Toyota Corolla LE since day 1, I can tell you that I have babied my car. From mantaince done on schedule, oils and fuilds and keeping the interior pristine. This car has been awesome. No issues or headaches whatsoever. It is showing its age on the technology side but it even feels higher quality than my new 2024 Camry. People are also surprise that it still has the new car smell. It has 86000 miles and I love this car. We got a camry because we had a baby and even though this corolla has enough space, we had a mini Cooper (my wife bought) and it was giving us so many issues and the camry offered larger space for everyone

When I was in the market to buy, the market itself was outrageous. I was looking at 2019 corollas going for the same price as a 2023! (New at the time). But I do wish I waited a little longer as new prices have gone down and even used.

If you want to avoid CVT, look for 2016 or older CE trim.

My new 2020 TNGA Corolla SE sedan 6-MT was the worst (most problematic) vehicle that I have owned in 40+ years & 10-11 new Honda, Acura & Toyota vehicles (all manual) during that time. Loved my previous-to-that bulletproof little (older Toyota tech) new 2015 Yaris SE 5-MT hatch though for the 4-5 years that I had it before it was killed by a distracted driver in late 2019. Can't say I trust the Toyota brand these days due to my poor 2020 Corolla experience & purchased my first Mazda in early 2022 to replace it (& no problems issues to report for almost 2.5 years now with my CX-30 CE).
