Fair real, imo, I freaking love it! I got a bottle last week and had to grab another one this evening. It’s flying off the shelf here in Davenport, Iowa. You can’t ever go wrong with the iconic Evan Williams BiB, but negl I think this HH BiB compares to Blade n Bow, call me crazy but I think it has something else that nobody is talking about an id say it’s got that nice minty taste both on the noise n palate. I LOVE IT! Here it’s $49.99 and for real I think it’s priced right

I just got some. It's delicious.
I got one a few years ago for like 37 bucks and never opened it. Finally did it about a month ago and was mad I waited so long. It's delicious for my taste. I've noticed it popping up more often and sitting on shelves a little longer lately around that 50 dollar mark.

Got one today for $39 at Cco to try...on my quest to find best "reasonable priced" bourbon for my palate. So far, I'm really liking MM or Balcones pot still bourbon...but to each their own. Cheers y'all!
Future comparison to the original HH bottle.
Two corrections: you added a year to the old HH BiB as it was actually 6 years old AND I believe you're talking about Old Grand Dad 114. Not 101 or 110. Also have a bottle of this HH BiB and I paid $41 at my local store. Don't know why but I've been seeing this stuff everywhere for the past year with a lot of different price points - anywhere from $40 (retail) on up to over $100. I have 2 bottles of the EC 18 (19)&(21) and I like the 7yr. old BiB better. 🤷

Bart summarized my opinion of this bottle I have. I'd give it a 86 score, not the first bottle I'm reaching for, but it's decent. I won't be buying another bottle for $50. Great review.

Friends sent me a sample of the old juice back in 2019, it was great. At $50 a bottle, I have a lot of good options.

I saw one yesterday here at and ABC store in NC. It's not always available. It's $50 here, but this one was locked in the Rare and Premium display. 😂

I am not a scotch guy but I sure am a bourbon guy. My palate gravitates to HH and Jim Beam products. For $50 I am real happy with this bottle. That being said, I put it in a blind with some other BiB bourbons from HH and Jim Beam. It won, but given the day I might have chose JTS Brown over it. And I found that bottle for $19!
Got my motivation again to do arm work again when I go to the gym.😊 What I’m finding is with the HH BiB getting off allocation and becoming more readily available in my area it just sits on shelves. Even at the higher price of $54. The shine is off imo.

No it was a 6 yr old on the older one, then replaced the 6yr with the 7 yr old and uspped the price

I agree with Bart. You have to figure in the price. Sorry, this is not a $50 bourbon. Yes, it’s good. Still, there are far better options at that price point.

Cheapest i can find this HH bib by me is $60 and up! No thanks, I'll stick to Rare Breed and Knob Creek single barrel store picks for that or less.
