@@govertkreuk4906 This is an older video, at the time we didn't have the v2 restrictors available. The restrictor ring that came with your unit is compatible with the thumbstick type installed.
Thank you. I was not going to buy an Azeron because some reviews said the thumbstick was only WASD. This guide really helped dispel that misconception.
I want know if this thumbs tick isn't wasd does it cause jittering when trying aim with mouse like the razer Taturus stick when I set that too anlogue.
I also use the Azeron for Blender (3D Model Design) and Unity (Game Development). Thumbstick can be toggled by pressing it down - it activates camera panning in the app and then swaps the keys properly. When I'm not camera panning, it copies the combination keys of SHIFT, CONTROL, and ALT -- left is Shift, up is Control, right is ALT, and I can easily do Shift + Control by aiming up left, Control + Alt by aiming Up Right, and then I hard coded in Shift + Alt directly down.
I think a software setting (that I'm surprised doesn't exist) which would make strafe-alternating speed a non-issue is letting people configure how much throw is needed to register a WASD keypress in that mode. These videos have made it seem more likely that the stick will pick up unwanted movement you'll want to eliminate, but for "intense" PC like games (Counter Strike, Valorant, maybe even CoD) high strung gamers are immensely tight on all controls they are on top of so they are willing, and able for their thumbs to be in full control of all times. The fact that gamers are willing and wanting to make stupidly low travel distance, and low resistance keypresses register for "speed" on some keyboards, surely they can handle stupidly low deflection angles on a thumbstick as alternating strafe, as least for some games. Anyways, just a suggestion.
I was reflecting on the function of the stick, and there is a difference in strafing speed when the stick moves down versus up. While this is not critical for regular users, improving the mechanism would be necessary to fully replace WASD. I may have overlooked something, and perhaps you have already considered this. Thank you for your attention.
Considering the mechanism and the way the thumb works, the difference in strafing speed would be around 15%. Again, this is not critical for regular users; however, if I were a pro player, I would look at this aspect more critically
@@FrederikoAlvarez well this is kind of limited to the game or software having controller support, in which case they should handle analog joystick controls. A range of inputs in 2 axes.
