Please update the video to include when adding the restrictor ring you MUST brace the thumb stick's bracket with you finger before pulling or else you will pull out the whole bracket and thumb stick.
love the simple setup. does the different sized thumbstick affect it falling out(with a restrictor ring)? had issues with my thumbstick popping out over time on my old azeron classic
If this is happening you need to replace the Thumbstick holder…happened to me I ordered some off Amazon for like $10 watched their vid on how to replace and problem solved
They've added a wear resistant hall effect joystick instead of the old potentiometer. They have changed thetop tower buttons as well. Shame they can't 3D print these out of metal, I feel
A design fault I have noticed with my original Cyborg is when a tower joint get loose, you have to remove the other finger towers completely to get access to the relevant screw. Not ideal. I see you are still using the frail ball joints on the towers as well. Too much mechanical strain on those joints, I feel they need to made stronger, use bigger fasteners perhaps. Still a great device I might add 🇦🇺
You don't have the side adjustment screw anymore ; all of the screws are underneath. This one also feels a lot more sturdy when it's locked in. I just got mine, but really like the improvements over the previous version so far .
Who ever gets a Cyborg 2 please take the time to adjust it and learn it!!! U will not regrett it!! Ive had every single one and will never go back to a keyboard 🔥🔥
The setup for my palm and hand feels like a puzzle inside a puzzle. Glad I ordered both palm rests, as the flat one feels more natural. Still, with so many moving parts it will take me a few hours until everything will feel comfortably positioned. Still enjoy the process.
@@timofaust1315 same i really enjoy the setup process myself too.. the funny part is i bought it for fortnite but it was the last game i finally switched over too.. it was so hard for me to go away from controller on fortnite but now im mad at myself for not doing it sooner lol
Hi great product but i have a question ! Lets say you are playing a mmo like wow or thrones of liberty and you press w + a on a normal keyeboard the character runs in between those directions. Can you set up the same effect with the thumbstick or does it only work with 4 directions ?
Exactly this is why i refunded my razer tartarus and decided to purchace a cyborg compact 2, i dont regret it at all, stick feels amazing clicks are super crisp 100% recomended
I have the Azeron Cyborg 1 - is there a way to import profiles from other users online to quickly test profiles that others have created instead of mapping manually?
Hi. I just discovered this brand and the haptics looks amazing! Can you have multiple keymaps in one profile as is in Razer Synapse? If so is it precise enough to temporarily change these keymaps by using thumbstick (keep holding one of four directional to change the keymap, klick desired button, release thumbstick to go back to the original keymap? Thanks!!
It`s called layers on Azeron. Layering is supported in the software profiles. You can map it on all keys, except the ''main joystick''. If you need it on a thumb, you can map it to 5way switch above the joystick or one of the keys on the little thumb tover.
Can you do a tutorial video on copying your old profile settings to a new device? It took me a while to get my keybinds dialed in on my Cyborg Compact and I don't want to have to reprogram a new device from scratch. Is there a way to copy those settings to the new one?
My toxic trait is having a question and being so impatient that I ask it in the comments before finishing the video, only to see that the video answered my question. I'll see myself out now.
@@AmericanJedi-1611 You might have changed the profile to another one, where the stick setting is different. Another controller connected could also interfere
@@AzeronEU Thanks for replying. I think I figured out the issue. I have an Xbox controller, and when I connected it, a windows popup ask me to select the default controller to use, because I have two (The Azeron and the Xbox) Even though I was selecting the Azeron as the default, I was having this problem. I am now ignoring that popup, and I am no longer having the issue. So I think it is fixed for now.
How does the new joystick feel compared to the old. Also how does the different inputs actually work like with wasd and the Xbox 360 joystick mode, do most games support it?
Function wise they are same. The hall effect stick should outlast the potentiometers. Keyboard mode on the stick would be supported in all games on PC, the xbox360 mode is supported on fewer games.

Just ordered a Cyborg 2, should be here in a week or so :D Will keep this video in mind when I try to figure out how to set it all up.
Just ordered one! Im sure ill love it! I wanted one since the original launched but never got around to buying it
Update! I got it! And I am loving it!! Absolutely worth every penny!!
Cool! I have been waiting for this one
Awesome. Now that the Cyborg 2 is out, maybe I will be able to pick up a Cyborg 1 to test to see if I like it better than my old Classic.
I'll be selling my Cyborg 1 if you're interested :)

Hardware that requires you to have a program running in the background 🥱
Software is require for initial setup.
You can store up to 6 profiles on onboard memory and use them without the software running
