Aww ❤ My family meets here every week for lunch ! We all mostly get the soup and salad! But it’s so important to My Father. As we lost Mama two years ago . My Father is 90 !! It’s just lovely to gather there 👍❤️
I always loved Olive Garden. Happy Birthday Linda. You guys always look like you're having a great time. I love that your family is included in your videos allot. Thanx for sharing. Safe Travels
Been years and years since I’ve been to Olive Garden. I’m enjoying these latest videos of nostalgic places. Hi Christopher and Happy Birthday to Linda!
I am 100% Italian, I make my own sauce and anything italian. I love it there you can not beat their salad which is always fesh, their Zuppa Tuscana, their Fettuccine alfredo, and even their eggplant parm. I love their fried mozzarella and stuffed mushrooms!! Love the chicken parm also. I love that gnocchi chicken soup too!
My wife and I love to go to Olive Garden for lunch and usually have the Soup and Salad. The meal fills without being heavy and comes at a great price. The prices and the offerings for dinner are also great for a dinner with friends.
As an Italian that cooks…there’s nothing classic about Olive Garden’s food If you don’t cook Italian food…then it’s passable It’s not the worst but definitely not the best 😊
as a chef I find that Olive Garden is cravable to the mainstream. I really only enjoy Olive Garden 1 or 2 times a year at best but others obviously really like the restaurant..
Hi B, L, L, and C 🙋♀️ Yaaay! Olive Garden! One of those places I still enjoy dining at. Like you guys, I don't go there expecting "authentic". I go expecting tasty food, a pleasant atmosphere, and since I have an Olive Garden a few blocks from home, I always run into a couple people I know, so it's a warm friendly place for me.
Love Olive Garden! Our first visit to Olive Garden was in 1987 in the City of Industry CA. My sister in-law who lived in Rowland Heights introduced us to it! We were living in Southern Kansas and the nearest OG was Kansas City or Oklahoma City. Now we live within 50 miles of 3 Olive Gardens in Wichita Kansas! Love your videos!
Great to see Linda and Chris again. Wow, we almost ate at Olive Garden yesterday (ended up at a locally owned Italian restaurant instead). So many people criticize it but it is good and always busy so they must be doing something right. Had no idea you could request the salad dressing on the side or that they had other salad dressings. Thanks to Olive Garden I started loving Italian dressing, pasta e fagioli soup and had my first Tiramisu, my fav dessert. The chocolate lasagna started last year but looks really heavy. Need to try it. Definitely shareable with some coffee. I always get the extra take home meal for $6 too (used to be $5). You can buy this even if you purchase a lunch deal too. Great review. 👍
Thanks Yvonne! The OG’s in our area are always crowded 7 days a week. lol. Yes, the dressing on the side is a pro tip, can be a bit much when they pre-mix it.
I have to admit, i love Olive Garden! We only have one location up in the Vancouver, BC area. It's always packed! I always get soup/salad/breadsticks, and I make little onion sandwiches with the salad onions and breadsticks.
I loved going to the Olive Garden way back when. It was affordable and loved the AYCE salad and breadsticks. Everything looked good. Took my sister for the first time a couple of months ago...it's still good. Desserts looked great.
I stopped going to Olive Garden when they stopped making the braised beef tortellini, that was my favorite and only thing I liked there....miss it so much. 😢
My friends, Anthony and Marco, hate this restaurant. They say that OG combines ingredients that shouldn't be combined and call it Italian. They don't mind the food; they just mind it being called Italian.
Hello Bill & Lisa, tell Linda Happy Birthday. I love Olive Garden I always get the Shrimp Scampi. The breadsticks are amazing. See y'all in the next video.
I'm not an Olive Garden fan (Del Amo), but maybe I'll have to try the Carson one. This video seemed like you were really making a commercial for them..??..😂
Olive garden is okay but being raised by my Italian side of the family I must say Easter was a great time for us. It was like a scene out of The Godfather lol. Giant pot of sauce filled with meatballs, pepperoni, chops, and a variety of other meats. Now the pasta was home made and my aunts made Raviolia. Now if you want bread get the Italian bread in a loft. Rip you off a piece and dip in that pot of sauce get you a meatball or whatever. Brings back happy memories. Regretfully my 6 aunts and five uncles are all gone.WOW! Including my Mom 12 all together. Good time good times.
Love the Olive Garden my husband gets ranch and I get their Italian so dressing always comes on the side.. I always ask for extra olives and tomatoes in the salad..yummy
Thank you for sharing another well-done video, Bill and Lisa. I find it unbelievable that an Italian restaurant doesn't have pizza. Do you feel the same way?
@@billandlisa I understand the shock at why OG does not have pizzas and slices of pizza pies, on offer however, folks can get pizza anywhere and everywhere these days. Folks cannot get the other foods that the OG offers at ... say, Whole Foods, or Kroger or Safeway. I never see any of OG's other foods at all the other places that I see pizza.
we have it on the kids menu but it's not something I would go there just to eat, but kids like it. we only officially offer cheese or pepperoni but you can modify it to include anything else we have in the back (bacon, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomato, etc...).
An old friend once said "it is what it is."Well I did enjoy their salad and their Italian margarita. Hubby does not like their food so we don't go there. Would be great if they offered in their pasta toppings pesto sauce or just garlic and olive oil. Last time I was there took my dad and all he wanted was garlic and olive oil on his pasta and the waiter looked at me like I was from another planet..he said they don't have olive oil or garlic sorry...wow no olive oil at olive garden lol. ..oh well that was a couple years ago. Your meal looked much better than what was presented to us though. Happy Birthday Linda!💐
My favorite breadsticks are from a little Italian restaurant in Riverside named _Enzo's!_ They put Olive Garden and _Fazoli's_ breadsticks to shame! Their soft, pillowy goodness floating in butter is to die for! I like Olive Garden, they do have good pastas, salads, soups and breadsticks. I bought one of their Never Ending Pasta Passes one year and spent several days there, getting my money's worth! That chocolate cake looked decadent! Have you guys ever been to _Mission Inn Restaurant_ at _The Mission Inn Hotel and Spa?_ They have a $59 Sunday Brunch. The Hotel also has •Duane's Steak and Seafood Las Campanas Bella Trattoria & The California Lounge It would make e few videos of content for you guys.
Went to Olive Garden over 15 years ago at San Francisco Stonestown. One of the worst meals we ever had. Wrote to the company, and was contacted by the manager of that OG, and was offered a free meal to make up for that bad meal. Never went back. They closed down a few years ago. No surprise. Your OG looks much better.
Hey you 2. I haven't left a comment on one of your videos in ages, but I felt pretty compelled to leave one now. Salad, soup and breadsticks...fine. Hard to mess those up. Apps look ok, I guess. Desserts...both cakes, I'd probably eat. Sorry, but everything else is loaded with cheese and/or sauce not allowing the main ingredients to shine. Someone else in the comments mentioned it's like frozen food from a grocery store--yeah, that's about right. It's food for the masses. I appreciate the review regardless, but your foodie street cred just took a hit in my book! LOL 😁 Stay away from mainstream chain restaurants!
I was surprised to see that their son Christopher has full tattoo sleeves. Bill & Lisa seem clean cut in contrast. But their son seems nice and is a good camera person nonetheless!
Another great video!! I remember going to the one in torrance on hawthorn blvd in the 90s!!!! The fried mozzarella and ravioli looked really good. Not sure if that was available in the 90s but we would eat too many breadsticks!!😂😂😂 i would ask for a side of butter too!!! 😅 everything still looks like i remember!!!!! Have to go back again!!!😊😊😊😊 glad you still like it!!!😊
Maybe Olive Garden is better in Cali, here in Washington it's not so great. Just last week we went there and the pepperoncini's in our salad were the size of the tip of my pinky. The asparagus in my dish was undercooked and hard. My wife always likes her 5 cheese ziti though.
We are Italian and we love it! True it’s not like homemade Italian but several dishes are so delish we crave them!! My fave is Chicken Scampi with Zappa Toscana!! ❤ Cakes looked amazing!! I highly recommend the Italian donuts if they still have them on the menu.
While I have no opinion of Olive Garden good or bad, just be careful of your sodium intake, as chain restaurants are notorious for their liberal use of sodium.
We love Olive Garden!! We were there last month. Never occurred to me to dip the bread sticks into the soup. Great tip Lisa!! Awesome video as usual...Live life guys!!
Their pizzas were the only thing i would eat whenever i went there with my parents as a kid. Still mad they took them away. The dough from my memory was pretty damn good.
Thanks ! I love Olive Garden. I love the soups, the salad is ok. I love the Lasagna's meaty and cheesy. The strawberry cake is delicious, not a Chocolate fan.
I'm lovin your food vlogs their so good and very fun to watch. I agree Olive garden is good for us Americzns I guess our taste buds are different ☺ it is more like good home cooking than an expensive classic Italian resturant you bring things to us normal everyday type people. Love you guys. ♥

Olive Garden does not deserve all the hate. Love you doing these chain restaurants. You could even do Fast Food new items too, very popular.

Love your channel. You’re not talking with your mouth full of food like other TH-cam eaters..and you explain each dish carefully.🙏🥰
Love your positive energy and affection for each other!
hope Linda got the first bite on her birthday cake..
I have not been to Olive garden in about 10 years. Now I have to go. Tour of Italy looks best. Thank you for showing me what I was missing.
When I go to Olive Garden I like to get the all you can eat soup and salad. Thanks for sharing your experience with us ❤
All-you-can-eat soup and salad? How many bowls of soup do you want to eat? How much salad? This is ludicrous.

Thanks Bill and Lisa (and family) ! Always appreciate your videos!

I have not been to Olivia garden in awhile but I will be heading back looks so good thanks for sharing
Hi Bill and Lisa! I am still here, catching up. Work is crazy! Still watching!
Happy birthday, Linda!!❤ Chris did a great job as the cameraman!! Olive Garden is ok when you don't want to invest time making your own!
Thank you, Winnie!
Thank you! 🥰
Love your oldies but goodies food reviews! ❤❤❤
Hey Lisa!!!!! Hey Bill !!!!! Hey Family!!!!! ❤😊
Hi Daniel!!
You guys should do a vlog at Texas Roadhouse if there are any in Cali. Bread and cinnamon butter is amazing.
Thanks for reviewing an every day restaurant. It's great to know how it really is.
Olive Garden. One of those sit-down staples like Denny's, and Zippy's here in Hawaii. Had to plug my State! :)
I loved going to the Olive Garden way back when. It was affordable and loved the AYCE salad and breadsticks. Everything looked good. Took my sister for the first time a couple of months ago...it's still good. Desserts looked great.

Thank you for sharing another well-done video, Bill and Lisa. I find it unbelievable that an Italian restaurant doesn't have pizza. Do you feel the same way?
@lilabug8 Pizza IS Italian. It was invented in Italy. Think of it this way: Not every Italian restaurant serves the same food either!
@lilabug8 Ahhhh, thank you for clarifying! 😊
I totally agree!

might have been a new server. we have pesto, garlic, and oil (blended though, not evoo) and I do "just garlic and oil" orders pretty often.
