DD3 has amazing music. Renegade had some interactive stuff: you can jump kick on walls, and had holes to send enemies in. Crash and the boys street challenge had a beat ‘em stage as a 1 on 1 arena stage. They are other beat ‘em ups in the nes like defenders of dynatron city, and still others on the famicom.
Thanks! I have a lot of nostalgia for TMNT 2 - especially that snow stage. The deadly plows, the snowman hopping around shooting rockets at you, and that end boss wolf guy? Just googled it - his name is Tora.
I don't consider that one to be a beat-em-up. It's more along the lines of "action platformer" to me. It definitely was influenced by the beat em up genre
Yes, that is correct. I didn't consider the original TMNT to be a beat-em up in a traditional sense. It's more an action platformer than a beat-em up. So the first two turtles beat-em-ups were TMNT 2 and 3 on NES.
Thanks for watching! Mighty Final Fight is fantastic. I'm sure you'll love it. Checking the price now though - that'll hurt your wallet! Play it however you can.
It's weird when I come across a professional channel with well-made, well-edited videos that you think would have 50,000 to half a million subs and it only has less than a thousand. It feels like its a stolen vid from a larger channel or something. Anyway, nice video. I liked Batman Returns, Final Fight, River City Ransom, TMNT 2, and TMNT Manhattan Project. I never once got to play Double Dragon or Battletoads.
thanks for the kind words! I couldn't get the channel to take off and it took a lot of time to produce those edited videos so I abandoned that a while ago. Much respect to people who stick with it for so long! Oh and I highly recommend playing both Double Dragon and Battletoads! They are absolute classics!

My favourite one was double dragon 3, despite the difficulty
Wall jump kick was so satisfying and music is bomb. This guy doesn't know what he's talking about, DD3 has the best OST of the trilogy.
@@r91playsind Yeah, it's absolutely amazing
Thanks for an awesome stroll down memory lane :) I've played around 90% of the games here and I loved this!
Double Dragon II is my favorite but I do have a soft spot for TMNT II: The Arcade Game. I have to give TMNT III a shot! Great video!

Didn't you forget Fist of the North Star?

Excellent video!
TMNT: THE ARCADEGAME was the 2nd TMNT game the NES. It was the 2nd, hence the "2" in the title.

Great video. I enjoyed the watch. I didn’t even know about mighty final fight. Going to have to save up for that one.

I'm looking for a nes game where you're this Kung pao guy and the last boss is a giant eye ball. That's all I can remember
pura nostalgia amigo 🕹️🎮🤘🏻🤘🏻
es mejor singar entre amigos que entre gente rara, saludos!
The best video.
So much nostalgia! Do you have a twitch ?
I do! Though I do not stream with any regularity. You can see some of my previous broadcasts here: www.twitch.tv/nescapeplan/videos
3:05 Music is mediocre???
You definitely haven't given dd3 a fair chance like other "retro gamers"
I completed the game. That's enough for me. I prefer the music of DD1 and DD2.
