It's really fascinating whenever you look at alternate history and see how important WWI was and how wildly different the modern world would've looked if the Central Powers succeeded. Fantastic video!

This is like a Documentary that leaked from an alternative timeline to ours
that's cause the group that developed kaiserriech (a hoi4 mod) knew exactly what they were doing its very historically enlightening to see the path europe takes from their preceptions of a german victory in 1919
Unfortunately this missed out on some of the best UoB lore.
The navy is a seperate entity (union) from the government and is entirely self funded, owns all the ports in britain etc.
That totally sounds like a good idea and won't go wrong at all.

@@crismaster7498 Seems unlikely if not impossible considering most of the Royal Navy fled to the various colonies during the uprising and the Republican Navy would consist solely of ships that either supported the syndicalistes or were built by the Union of Britain. There is also the fact this is about 18 years after ww1 and most young sailors age roughly 18 to 20 would have spent just about their entire lives knowing nothing but syndicalism.
@@williamhu8281Honestly, if there were a revolt in the kaiserreich universe, the Royal Navy would likely be seen as the most staunchly Monarchist faction, being a position of prestige to the Crown and instrumental to the evacuation, while it is the Army (with possible exception for the non-infantry officer corps, even though they suffered horrendous casualty rates as well) who mutinies for being in the meat grinder.

As awesome as this was to see, I am a bit disappointed how often the French Commune gets ignored in favor of Britain when it comes to Kaiserreich videos on TH-cam. The French were not only the first to fall to Syndicalism but are also the leaders of the International.
I mean this video is specifically about the Union of Britain, and they might make a video on the French Commune sometime later

Further context for the nitpick: Fascism was created and by one Benito Mussolini, a former socialist in our world and a totalist in the KR world. The term Fascism derives from the fascis: a bundle of wooden rods (often containing an axe at the center) that served as a Roman symbol of office and military power.
Its always intresting to see how the revolution in Kaiserreich Britain worked almost the same way as the socialist uprisings in post WW1 Germany in our Timeline.

yeah thank god they buffed Britain recently I could take them out with 3 marines divisions before just land opposite Glasgow and push then call in loyalists then rush London and profit.
I play Kaiserreich/Kaiserredux and it’s so fun to play all these different countries and see their own unique history like the “Union of Britain.” Can’t wait to hopefully see future videos of Kaiserreich!

If you are interested in covering hoi4 mods as the Institute, would you like to cover some nations from TNO? Germany would be the obvious choice as they are the kings of that world, but you can also focus on Italy which is trying to decide if to stay with fascism or abandon it, or what fascism exactly means to begin with. Japan can also be a nice choice, or you can pick WRRF who is the canon unifier of the broken Russia, though this may be hard as WRRF unifies Russia *after* the mod's timeline starts.
They should probably cover Komi

@@nicole3002 Would be a very good idea, but Komi having so many paths is problematic because you need to pick one. Whereas WRRF has two, and only one canon path, Zhukov. But as I said, the things happen *after* 62, so picking the US, Japan, Italy or Germany may be a far better idea.
WRRF is jam backed with Pre Game Lore.
Obvious choices for videos would be WRRF, Vyatka, Komi, Tomsk and Yagoda.

This near perfect autonomy is great, and my preferred choice, but in game terms fucking SUUUCKs. You effectively give 2/3rs of the nations to really shitty AI, that collapse at the drop of a hat when invaded.
I probably wouldn’t want it divided down to county lines, that seems unnecessarily small, but country lines would be a good idea. I’ve desired a federal UK for a long time. Unfortunately our population suffers from poverty of aspiration.

In all honesty, even though I am not socialist, the Union of Britain sounds like a place to live in, as even after war and the end of the British Empire, it became prosperous, and continued to prosper, with gaining influence over the world, even as a non-colonial power.
