      The front bumper is from Shrockworks. I have an old video on the install, which talks more about it. Look it up on my play list. Thanks!

      I don't recall at the moment. I know I under estimated a bit, but I think I mention in the video how much to get with plenty of margin for error. Thanks

    Great video! Thanks for making them. Question, where did you get that front bumper? Also, any recommendation for a rear bumper with tire carrier? Any affordable one?

    • @FJCruiserChannel
      @FJCruiserChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment! The front bumper is from Shrockworks out of Houston. I believe they ship as well. I looked far and wide for front and rear bumpers. For me looks and function were a priority over saving a couple hundred dollars. None are really affordable, unless you have a good welder and buy a kit. I saved up and bought the front bumper first, then the rear much later. I decided on an ExpeditionOne rear bumper with swing arm. It has been a great bumper so far. I have videos of both installations if you are curious. Search through my playlist. Thanks again!

    Looks great!! Good job! I just bought my first FJ 3 weeks ago. Quick unrelated question. What route did you run the wires for your lights front and rear on the roof rack? I have seen some drilled holes underneath the roof rack mounts. Others down along the cowl area. Just looking for the best route. Thanks!

    • @FJCruiserChannel
      @FJCruiserChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't want to deal with a leaky roof, so I opted out of drilling holes on it. I was able to barely fit two 14 gauge wires between the side pillars and the windshield. You can run it all the way up to the roof rack mount. Plenty of room for just one wire. I thought I had a video on it, but maybe didn't post it. I'll see if I can find and post it.

    • @FJCruiserChannel

      I bought 25ft, but I think 30ft would make things easier. Start watching around the 8 minute mark where I describe the dimensions of each cut I made.

    • @FJCruiserChannel
      @FJCruiserChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know. I left the roof white. You may want to wrap the front windshield piece separate, so plan on a little extra for that. Good luck!

    • @melisarascoe513
      @melisarascoe513 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      FJ Cruiser Channel did you ever wrap your roof. I want to wrap mine black and was wondering the same thing.

    • @FJCruiserChannel
      @FJCruiserChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@melisarascoe513 No, I never did. I'm pretty sure that the width of a standard roll will fit across the width of the roof. Just need to measure front to back and order that length. You may want to do it in three sections... two sides and center, with the seam under the white plastic channel. Good luck! let me know how it turns out.
