If you have two different DBA's registered to the same original business then you likely would need one cottage food license for that original business, and then register a separate DBA to that main business. Contact the department issuing the license to be sure. Look up the contact info on CalGold.ca.gov
If your specific city has adopted the microenterprise home kitchen policy (some in CA have, others havent) then you would apply for the permit here www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CEH/DFDCS/Pages/FDBPrograms/FoodSafetyProgram/MicroenterpriseHomeKitchenOperations.aspx - but pizza is not permitted with the cottage food license

California is complicated. I’ve been trying to get my cottage food license. The local departments constantly tell me complicating things. So far I did fictitious name, sellers permit and taxes. I am not sure what’s next when I call around it’s all different suggestions. I want to sell cookies, cakes and candy apples but make from home. I also would like sell at my churches monthly carnival. What should my next step be?

@ItsAngelinaC and I believe that first you would do the training that is required that's explained in the video before registering for your permit. I would anticipate your application to be denied if you haven't completed that step first.
