I'm not a fan of almond bread but this bread is easy to make and very tasty. As for the jam recipe, I have no words! Finally something with no sugar or sweetener, just a little honey. Adding the chia seeds is just brilliant. THANK YOU Elizabeth !
Just remember that both honey and other sweeteners such as Agave ARE sugar; they're not any better from a metabolic health POV than sugar (you can reference Dr. Lustig for this)
@@ElGuerreroMaya artificial sweeteners are just as the name says; artificial and no good for you. I don't believe that honey falls into that category and it is a far more healthier option. A small amount is not harmful, and has healing and medicinal properties.
The lady is on fire 🔥 man. So my son is gluten-free and loves bread. But as we know, most breads aren’t gluten-free. After making this, my son now thinks I’m the best dad in the world. Thanks Liz 🙏🏾🙌🏾
You can skip the eggs, honey/sweetners, as I did. And still turned out great. I also added extra baking soda (1 tsp) and lemon juice (half a lemon) to help leaven the bread a bit more. I also added 1 tbsp of psyllium husk powder for more fibre.

Dear Ms Elizabeth - first, I’m grateful to the Lord Jesus for leading me to this recipe. Second of all, thank you for your hard work in putting this so yummy bread recipe . I confess I am picky with some ingredients and at first I was hesitant about the flaxseed but I did it anyway. Omg, it’s smell great in my kitchen and it was still warm and I ate a generous slice of this bread with a good butter and vegan cream cheese. It was perfect and this will now be my go-to bread from now on. I topped this bread with sesame seeds and it completes it. 🙏❤️🌸👌
I made this today and added 1/4 cup salted chopped nuts to the batter and to the top of the 1/4 cup of same nuts. It's DELICIOUS!!! We tried it warm and plain, with butter, with peanut butter and as a sandwich bread and it is really good. Thank you for this! So easy.
I love that you explain the reasons of why you do certain things like why you don't let batter with baking soda sit. Also smart cooking tips of using the oil first and then the honey in the measuring spoon.
I've made this bread three times now, using almond pulp from homemade almond milk. The first time, I used dried pulp and the bread turned out very dry. The second time, I used 1.3/4 C loosely packed moist pulp and 1/2 cup blanched almond meal from the store. I separated the egg yolks and whites and beat the whites until soft peaks formed and folded them into the batter. The bread was soft, moist and fluffy. Perfect toasted! This time, I beat the whole eggs very well before adding the rest of the ingredients and it turned out just as good as last time. So, now I have a reacipe for healthy bread that's easy to make, uses my fresh almond pulp and tastes delicious. Thanks you, Elizabeth!
I just made this and it turned out perfectly...so delicious! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I have never successfully baked a thing in my life and the quantities of ingredients you mentioned proved to be spot on....I was floored! I don't have a food processor and used flaxseed meal and it still turned out awesome :)
Oh my gosh! I'm in love with this! I just took my loaf out of the oven and I'm so excited to try it! If this means that I can have a sandwich with bread on it, I'm gonna cry. Sandwiches were always my go-to thing, but since I started on my health journey to heal my body I haven't had a sandwich in over 3 years.
This recipe is so flawless! Baked bread for the very first time and this came out SO well. My kitchen smells heavenly. I do agree with some of the comments here that it tastes more like cake but that works for me. The jam is bloody good too! For both recipes I used brown rice malt syrup (to cut down on fructose) instead of honey and doubled the quantity of it. This bread goes so well with the jam, it helps me with sugar cravings. I’ve never baked anything before that’s turned out so damn well and is so tasty too! Thank you @Elizabeth Rider. Going to check out your other recipes now!
I made these without the flaxseed , (didn't have any) I made them into a small biscuit, added shredded cheddar cheese, and a little garlic. they were awesome .! Thank you for sharing.
I made this bread and there is no way I will go back to eat the normal bread. The bread is amazing in all ways. I added half a tablespoon of nutritional yeast. I cannot say thank you enough!
I really love the way this recipe goes together and how it was so organized and easy to understand. I like how there was no time wasted on scraping the bowl as I felt this was courteous to all the viewers. Thank you! I am excited to try this recipe!😁❤️👍
I baked this twice so far and both came out perfect. Each loaf is enough for me for 5 days so I bake it every five days and enjoy it. This is the most practical and easiest recipe. Thank you
Thanks! I just gave this recipe a try today and it turned out well. I probably overfilled the pan, but got away with. End result was still good. I recommend it with the added herbs. The thyme and rosemary work well.
I just came across your bread recipe. I am pretty sure I've been following your almond flour cookies recipe for some time (and they are a household favorite). My husband is on a paleo diet, and he has missed bread. The rest of us are trying to eat cleaner, especially since all the gunk in foods nowadays. Because of the gunk in foods, I am researching how to make my own bread from home. I started researching my favorite bread: sourdough. I was becoming overwhelmed 😅. My husband saw me scrolling on bread forums and on a whim, asked if I found a recipe for bread made with almond bread. I did a search and came across this video. Luckily, we had most items in our pantry, everything except ground flaxseed. So I said I would give it a try. I stopped at the store on my way to visit my mother and my grandmother. Unfortunately, the store I went to only had ground flaxseed meal. I purchased it and figured I would see how it came out. I ended up making the recipe at my mother's house (she is allergic to gluten and was interested in how it came out). We only had 2 small bread pans, so we made two batches with the recipe as is (to ensure the pans were only half full and would cook all the way through). Everyone at my mother's house tried one loaf of bread after it cooled from the oven and everyone loved it! It did have the texture of cornbread and had a look of having herbs. I think it may be because of the flaxseed meal, so I ordered ground flaxseed from Amazon, and it will get to me tomorrow. I brought the second (untouched) loaf home, and my husband had a slice and immediately went back for 2 more!! He is happy to have bread in his life again!! I am excited to try this recipe again tomorrow when the ground flaxseed comes in! If it tastes even better, I don't know if I will even attempt to make any other bread. Our family may just live off this bread 😅. I was not looking forward to starting/maintaining a sourdough starter since that was the bread I was planning on making right out of the gate 😅 You have really spoken to me with the minimal ingredients, minimal effort, and delicious flavor! Highly recommend anyone reading this (especially those I shared this link with 😂) to try this bread!!

Just finished baking my bread, turned out perfectly and so good. I thought it would taste eggy, but not so much. Thank you for the recipe. I will try the jam next😊
Just made mine, used only one whole egg plus egg whites equivalent to 3 large eggs, dough came up too thick, had to add water to often it up,but still came out amazing- feels more cake-like than bread-like, cooling down 3 slices right now, looking forward to taking a taste later in the day- though I love warm home-made bread, I have a feeling cooling this will make it feel more bread-like, which is what I was trying for! Looks and smells delish!! Oh! My husband just had a taste- he is absolutely bought!!!
I have been using almond flour in a lot of recipies recently and its great, it can be used in everything and doesnt really taste any different than normal flour when you use it. I often replace half my gluten free flour mix with almond flour and the other half is usually Sorghum or Brown rice flour. I find adding just a bit of either of those adds more structure.
@@SGLaurie I used 2 T. Per my hubby's request. He likes it just a little sweeter than I do, but the Monk fruit is ok cause it tends to not be quite as sweet as regular cane sugar or honey. It's my go to!

My first bread ever and it's a success since first loaf! Love it! thank you!! *I did start to adjust the eggs to 4, as 5 eggs was too eggy for me. I also replaced some flour with coconut flour and it still worked well. The jam was also incredible, and I have been making quite some of them.
I didn’t know what to do with my leftover almond flour until I found your recipe. Just made it and it’s wonderful! Light and tasty. I added chia seeds instead of fresh herbs cause I didn’t have any. I also made the jam out of mixed berry frozen fruit and it’s yummy😋. Thanks so much for a great recipe. It’s very disappointing when trying new recipes with poor results, but yours is GREAT!
Amazing Bread !!! I just made my first loaf and it is delicious :) I am on a low carb diet and I substituted a few things. Apple cider vinegar with a raw coconut vinegar, honey with Joseph's sugar free syrup, olive oil with 4 tbsp of butter. 2net carbs a slice. Thanks for sharing this wonderful bread, I love it!

No puedo consumir gluten, y a mi esposo, aunque no tiene problemas, se que evitarlo le hará bien. Una pregunta: las semillas de lino se pueden sustituir por chua en la receta? Gracias.
I will be ok with maple, but the higher amount of enzymes in the honey actually help the baking soda a little more for a better rise. Maple will still yield good results to make this purely vegan. ~E

Just finished baking my bread, turned out perfectly and so good. I thought it would taste eggy, but not so much. Thank you for the recipe. I will try the jam next😊
Being diabetic and vegan too makes me consider substituting egg with ground flax (or chia) water combi. Hope it works👍😋
Just made it and I’m really surprised. Thanks! Greetings from Mexico.
This is one of the most deliciously healthy bread. Thank you for this recipe😊
So happy to hear it!
Hi Elizabeth can you please do a version of this bread vegan? That would be amazing thanks
Thank you so Elizabeth much for the easy recipes
I made this bread yesterday and it is absolutely perfect and delicious! A great gluten free keto version of bread! Thanks for the recipe 👍🏾
It’s not Keto with the Honey.
good tip on oil before honey!!! loved the chia seed jam idea.... never would have thought of that. excellent idea. thanks!!
It works great even without using food processor 👍🏻
Maybe yes………
Did you use a blender?
I love your explanations and how you give tips along the way!!
Thanks so much! Glad to have you here :)
Thank you for that brown rice tip. Quite useful👍
This is the best video for vegan bread so far 👍for you lady❤😊
Just made one loaf almond bread, OMG taste amazing , thank you a lot for sharing
Great to hear, thanks for sharing! ~E
I made it today. mixed both blanched and regular flowers, and it is delicious. Thank you
You put flowers in your recipe or flour?
@@MsEcstreet LOL👍💐
I used Monkfruit for sweetener and it's fantastic!! Thank you!
Awesome! Will you share how much monk fruit was added to recipe?
@@SGLaurie I used 2 T. Per my hubby's request. He likes it just a little sweeter than I do, but the Monk fruit is ok cause it tends to not be quite as sweet as regular cane sugar or honey. It's my go to!
Thank you!
Diabetic people can't eat Monkfruit?
Maria Rodas They can, it does not raise the glycemic index.
Just made it, Turned out perfect! I used 4 eggs And maple syrup instead of honey
Has anyone here tried Walnut and Raisin bread. Delicious!
I will definitely use raisins. This is for my grands.
God bless you what you making I'm going to make it right now because I'm a gluten-free
So I am celiac
blessing you also everybody and we pray for all the people around the world amen
Yours is the only bread I make for keto! It never gos wrong, plus that jelly was soooo good😋also you sound so friendly and kind on the video, keep it up!

Second time making this recipe! Absolutely love this bread! So satiating :) thank you so much!
So glad!
So healthy and delicious.
i just made it in my ninja(cooking time 24 mins) this was the first time i tried it but will not be the last, loved it , thanks
I replaced the flaxseeds with chia seeds and I used 3 eggs instead.
Turned out amazing !!!!
Good to know
Alot of receipts im looking at need alot of eggs or almond butter im some desserts😏
You can eat the jam on the bread, the jam has chia seeds
Why only 3 eggs instead of 5?? U aren’t gonna follow the recipe properly if u do that
I used five eggs but did two
Cups
Of almond flour and 1/4 cup of
Coconut flour to
Test it out ! I also did raw pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds on the top
I made both of these. Amazing!!!! I can't stop eating them. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite bread, the recipe is so good.
Thanks for sharing. Definitely going to try this recipe.
Hope you enjoy
I haven’t tried this yet, your video was just recommended to me and I must say.
I may be 3 years late but I love how well you presented the food along with your beautiful personality.
I do have the flour and will definitely give this a try very soon.Thank you for the Chia Seed infused Jam as well,I do have the seeds but largely use on my smoothies, now I’m gon be jam-Ming my way to heaven with the recipe you shared.
Lastly...you have a new subscriber fan down in Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦✌🏿
I will look for other recipes on your channel.✌🏿😉
Thanks!
You showed me how to make bread and jam. PB+J's will never be the same. I can't wait to try this.
My first bread ever and it's a success since first loaf! Love it! thank you!! *I did start to adjust the eggs to 4, as 5 eggs was too eggy for me. I also replaced some flour with coconut flour and it still worked well. The jam was also incredible, and I have been making quite some of them.
Thanks for your suggestion. How much did you substitute and why? My grands are gluten free.
I used only 1 egg and replaced other eggs with 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder per egg. No eggy flavour!
You are so welcome! Glad to hear it!
Hi,can you mix it by hand i don't have a food processor? Thanking you
If you have a nut blade for a blender or bullet blender it's the same thing just smaller
I made mine by hand..turned out great
I made it yesterday it turned out to be delicious...all you need to do is follow the recipe as is....
Glad to hear it! :)
Veronica Kendrick thanks SO much for the carb count! You are a peach to share how you did it!❤️
Does it taste like egg at all?
What is "Joseph's sugar free" syrup. Can syrup be sugar free if it's syrup?
Hmmmm…. I’m wondering if the 4 tbsp. of butter will work and have better flavor in the bread?
perfect recipe I will try this cool thing, thanks Elizabeth 😊
My pleasure 😊
It looks delicious. I'm definitely doing to try making both the bread and the jam. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for the super easy recipe! It turned great!!❤
Hi just came across your video can I use stevia instead of honey? I’m doing Keto. Thanks
I am going to try sugar free maple syrup because I can’t have honey even if it’s only a tbsp.
Gracias.
Love it, but I use maple syrup instead of honey for a lower glycemic sweetener.
I will be ok with maple, but the higher amount of enzymes in the honey actually help the baking soda a little more for a better rise. Maple will still yield good results to make this purely vegan. ~E
@@ElizabethRider It won't be vegan because there are eggs in it (vegans avoid all animal by-products). In any case, I am definitely going to try this recipe. Have you ever tried making almond flour? Thanks for sharing!
@@ElizabethRider how does it make it purely vegan? What do you use to substitute the five eggs?
@@kieshapaul It's also very high in cholesterol :(
@@ElizabethRiderI cannot have honey at all so will have to try sf syrup. I could use honey for the rest of the family tho.
Thanks for sharing this video and I will definitely try it out. 👏🙏🏾
Hope you like it!
OMG. This recipe is delicious. Thank you for sharing. I just had a slice. And it tastes amazing. Though I will add less salt next time. I did not make the berry.
Good Morning, I am going to try it today. I have all the ingredients in my kitchen.
Hope you enjoy
Thank you for uploading the video. Easy looking recipe with the bonus recipe for jam.
Glad to hear it! ~E
Just made this bread and it's the best Keto bread I've tasted, not dry, just right, i also used a processor, i don't know if that makes a difference? But it turned out perfect and I used all the mixture. Thank you for your recipe, the presentation was clear and quick.
Thank you, I need this rez on gluten free bread. Must have!
I love bread but because of my diabetes I had to stop bread from my diet, but now I have a chance to eat healthy bread again, thank you so much you are a life saver😍😍😍😍.
Can you tell us how much calories and sugar in the Jam?
Great job! Healthy Food........luv the tips in between the recipe...

@@ElizabethRider suggestion if you can’t have honey?
It is super easy and super yummy. I shared it with all my friends.
Glad to hear it!
Just popped it into my oven. Can't wait to have a slice. I had my microbiome tested and almonds are in my list of foods to enjoy. I used coconut sugar and grape seed oil instead of olive oil. Prefer the taste .... thank you for inspiring me ..... Next done almond apple muffins 😋
I made this and it’s insane
I love this bread. I have made like 10 loaves by now. I have stop making it because I can’t put it down! LOL. Thank you for this awesome recipe.
Glad to hear it! ~E
Does it taste eggy
@@mabbas6479 Hhaha! I just asked that! I'm trying to find a bread recipe that doesn't taste like egg.
